Location,service,staff,rooms.
Location was great close to everything,staff was helpfull in every way.Beds and linens were top notch.Pool and sauna's were clean and nice.Check in and out was smooth and uneventfull.Restauraunt was good and service excellent.Located right in the middle of the action but very quiet at night.Short walk to beach.Baht bus stops right at the door.ATM machine right outside the hotel.In room safe.

LK Royal suites rooms were good and maid service excellent.
Breakfast/didning room open to street, no air conditioning and rather fly blown and noisy due to street traffic. Reception initially cool welcome demanding 1000 baht for key deposit.
The LK Royal suites rooms were good, Versace suite was excellent with good facilities, nicely furnished and well stocked mini bar. However the television reception on both sets, a flat screen in lounge and conventional set in bedroom was rather poor. The bathroom had an excellent jacuzzi however the shower thermostat was wonky and supplied a very hot or very cold experience.
The reception area was pleasant and nicely furnished, however the welcome was rather cool to begin with, immediately demanding 1000 bahts for a key deposit!! After a few days smiles from receptionists appeared and they were very helpful with any queries...
The main let down was the breakfast room/dining room which was open to the street and non air conditioned.Passing traffic on Soi Buokhow made breakfast a noisy experience. Breakfasts were variable in quality and the buffet layout seemed to vary day by day....The Tea looked and tasted a very old brew indeed.
