We both really enjoyed our stay, lovely hotel opposite the beach in a central location in pattaya. The rooms were very comfortable with all amenities. The breakfast buffet was,great with lovely views of the oceon.

the lk empress is in a lovely location right on the seafront , roughly about a five minute walk from central world plaza shopping mall and about a ten minute walk from walking street the staff here were very helpfull the rooms were very clean and the food was very good too all in all a very nice hotel and a pleasent stay

The price for this hotel should include a quality breakfast...the breakfast buffet was 1* at most...room was very nice tho. After a night of drinking and clubs, to have a nice breakfast with coffee, this place lacked. They didn't even have fresh brewed coffee, only that instant nestle. Stayed 2 nights then moved on to a nice hotel off the strip for $150 cheaper. My advice, its a nice hotel but lacks a good breakfast....and it had ants inside my room.

A very grand looking hotel located

Over all a very good hotel. Nice friendly and helpful staffs, the room is clean and big. Location is fantastic, next to Mike shoping complex, 10 min walk to walking street, have a family mart inside the hotel.
The only thing i dislike about this hotel and I hope they improve on it is the water pressure for the shower.

For a first timer in Pattaya, this hotel can not go wrong. It has everything ... good location, spacious rooms, nice bathroom, superb breakfast etc. The only drawback is the small swimming pool but what the heck, you have a huge ocean right in front of the hotel. Shopping is a hassle though because you need to bargain to get the best deal. The 'Walking Street', about three blocks down the road is an eye-opener for us but sorry, no kids please. That place is strictly for adults looking for fun. Do leave your kids in the hotel and keep them occupied if you plan to go there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Pattaya is fun in the day for the family but not so at night. Keep that in mind if you are bringing young children with you.

I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya, LK Empress is the best by far.......
The breakfast and its environment can not be beaten, the Location if the best it can be and the rooms and its decoration and amenities are the best.
The food and service is very good and price wise it is very competitive with surrounding restaurants.
The staff are very Curtis and smiling. and very friendly and helpful........... close to sea, restaurants, shopping and all Entertainment.
I recommend it highly and would go back there any time.....
