We enjoyed the stay at the Mercure Hotel Pattaya, it was staffed by friendly and helpful staff, who were very quick to offer solutions to problems. The hospitality bus through to the main road was extensively used.
Nightlife Tip:
Just 5 minutes walk from the (in)famous walking street. Ideal.

Hotel Feature Tip:
If you take the hotel shuttle car - they will leave you at a laundry site. Across the road is a supermarket and restaurants though the restaurants are expensive.

Took a tour of a temple and swam with the dolphins. Both booked at a local travel agent. The location is about 1.5 to 2 hours away. Great experience, but a long ride. Booking through the hotel is a bit more costly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jomtien Beach is a short distance (20 baht for a taxi ride) with a nicer beach. They also have windsurfing, jetskiing, parasailing etc. Off season is better for prices.

This hotel is good value for the money with clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. It is conveniently located next to a shopping center and the beach is only a couple of minutes away.

Mercure Hotel, Pattaya
The location is fairly central they provide a shuttle to and from the hotel regularly.
The pool area was really nice and the rooms a good size neat and clean

The hotel was neat and the rooms a good size and were neat clean and tidy.The pool area was very nice with a large pool area with accompanying massage pergola.The layout was very tranquil .The restaurant was very nice but on the expensive side .Transport was provided with a hotel took took ,but I found hiring a motor bike the best form of transport around Pattaya if you ride carefully with a brain I had no problems.All in all it was a pleasant stay.No breakfast is provided with this deal.

This the first time I go to pattaya but this hotel is very nice and located in main road.I would like to recommend it to many my friend want go to Pattaya Beach. The accomodations were very comfortable and the hotel staff was always to help and very friendly. If you need to go out Mercure hotel will send the tuk tuk free to take you from the hotel to main street and when you back to hotel. If your in Pattaya, the Mercure is the place to stay.
Restaurant Tip:
come and try with thai food is very good
