LAMER
The La Mer Restaurant serves Mediterranean specialties. Dine in a casual and friendly atmosphere, with our resident pianist entertaining. It is open for dinners only. A special Mediterranean Buffet dinner is available on Wednesdays.
MARCO POLO
The Macro Polo Chinese Restaurant is famous for its authentic Shanghainese and Szechuan cuisines prepared to perfection by master Chinese chefs. Montien is showing its age but overall the stay was satisfactory.

A nice hotel, in a good location, not too close to the razz matazz of Pattaya, but still within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are getting a bit weary, especially the bathrooms and could do with refurbishment, though they are adequate and still good value.

The Montien is in a prime location right opposite Pattaya Beach proper. Easy walk through pool / gardens and out onto street. Restaurants and bars are very close and the food is varied and reasonably priced. Other than breakfast which was included in tariff, we did not eat in hotel restaurant. The hotel also has a small bakery outlet where you can have sandwiches made, etc.
- Shopping Tip : Don't expect to find shopping in Pattaya - very limited.
