Nirvana Boutique consistently excellent

The staff knows me by name and had prepared my check-in before my arrival. I signed my name and they gave me my room key. I had booked the 1-bedroom apartment this time - it's a very good space about 55 square meters. The room was very clean with beautiful decor, a kitchen and a big comfy bed. I enjoyed the small swimming pool which is a good alternative to the dirty water at the beach. Staff friendly and polite as always. I highly recommend!

I've stayed at the Nirvana several times. Each time, a room has been ready for occupancy and check-in less than 2 minutes. The rooms are consistently clean, but they are so beautifully designed and comfortable as well. Large clean bathroom. Though the pool is small, it is also clean. The Nirvana is a real 'find.'

Better than I thought second time around

I had stayed at Nirvana previously and was not planning to stay here again as I am still in the process of trying out different accommodations. That said, I enjoyed my stay more than the first time. Breakfast is simple but adequte, the staff is cordial, the room is big, clean and stylishly decorated with Thai artwork. Overall a good value for the price I paid, even though it was the high season. The best part, of course, is its proximity to Jomtien Beach, just down the road, great for walks in the morning and evening, and lounging on a beach chair in between. I will stay here again.

I've stayed at the Nirvana (on Jomtien soi 4, 50 meters from the beach) before. When I arrived, reception greeted me by name and had the photocopy of my passport already from a previous visit. They handed me my room key and I headed up to my beautiful apartment. I was large - 56 sqm - and beautifully appointed with traditional thai style decor, a full kitchen and a large bathroom. The room was immaculate, which was consistent with my other visits to the Nirvana. Breakfast is individually prepared (not buffet). I highly recommend this quiet, comfortable boutique hotel if you want a memorable and comfortable stay in Jomtien Beach.
Restaurant Tip:
The Surf Kitchen between Jomtien soi 5 and soi 6 is noted on Lonely Planet and has an excellent selection of both thai and western cuisine.

Nice hotel with good sized rooms

This was the third time I have stayed at this small hotel and, as usual, I was happy with the room size and amendities. The shower was very good with hot water available on demand. Cleaning staff was very helpful and always did a fine job. Staff at the desk were also very nice to deal with and check in was a breeze.
The hotel does not have an elevator but as I was on the 2nd floor this was not a problem.
The swimming pool is VERY small but well maintained.
Breakfasts got to be boring after ten days.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be careful around bed as design wants to hit your chin.

. The hotel is ideally placed for the vibrant nightlife, but is sufficiently tucked away so as to be not affected by noise. The only drawback is the size of the pool, which is nothing more than a plunge pool.

No elevator but someone carries the bag upstairs. Beautiful rooms although the studio kitchen is poorly equipped eg not one pan for cooking but you'll probably go out anyway. Baths huge but a plea not to waste water. Breakfast OK. Staff not geared towards supplying information about travel outside the hotel, eg conflicting stories about how to get to Bangkok by bus, how much etc Better to see proper outside Travel Agent whose English will be better.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a good travel guide book with you - don't rely on getting good info locally!!

I've stayed at the Nirvana several times now, and the quality is consistently high. Now, the staff greets me by name, so that is proof they are attentive and professional. If you want a good night's sleep far from the bars and discos, the Nirvana is a great choice. It's an easy 50 meter walk to Jomtien Beach on Jomtien Soi 4, but there is an intimate pool at the hotel. Breakfast is quite good. Highly recommend!
