good location for nightlife

like the location which is very easy to get to and from due to being on the main taxi route on 2nd road, hotel staff are great and well trained, rooms have a modern feel to them but are showing the signs of wear, the biggest problem we found is the noise from other guest in the corridoor outside our room and the door bells are so annoying!and the hotel is now very popular with indian tour groups, good swimming pool and a new pool is still being built to go with the new hotel they are just about to open in october but these room wil be alot more expensive,
food is quite good but alittle on the expensive side.

Hotel is new and some part is still under construction

Good except in two occations, cleaner came into the room while we were sleeping. This was unacceptable even though she rang the door bell, and after a while she just used the door key and came in and realised that we were in the room sleeping...

Overall great stay at Nova Platinum
Location close to walking street and shopping areas. Clean and comfortable rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located right behind the walking street (5 mins), but it can be quite a walk (20 mins) up to Central Pattaya Street, especially on a nice hot sunny day.
There's not much of a pool or sea/mountain view, but the surrounding area is quite peaceful.
The room is clean, comfortable, and the staff servicing my floor were very friendly.The selection of food at the breakfast restaurant was rather narrow.

this is my 2nd stay in this hotel. this time it is worst. 2 buses fully loaded of mixture of indians and middle east tourists was about to check in just after i have checked in. it is chaos. every messy and extremely noisy. couldn't take the noise anymore so i went up to my room quickly. this time not many rowdy tourists on the floor i stayed and i will pray very hard not to encounter 1.

My wife and I booked this hotel without any recommendations other than what we had read on the Internet. It does have a great breakfast, and our first room was very nice, but our first room was directly facing a construction site that was very noisy during the day. I asked to be moved to a different hotel, but was only allowed to change our room location. That room had some problems. The swimming pool is very nice, also, but almost impossible to enjoy during the day, as it is next to the construction site. Another problem was the actions of some of the other guests who treated my wife as if they had never seen a woman - staring at her, taking photos of her while she was at the pool, trying to get near to her if I was not near her. Not a good experience for either my wife or myself. Avoid this place!

The Nova Platinum is located about 7 minutes walk from area attractions/restaurants. When I was there they had construction going on in one of the two buildings, which makes it very noisy if you want to sleep in. There also seems to be quite a few tours with a bus load of people there making it quite crowded. Otherwise its still a nice hotel in a good location. I do wish there was more than one elevator though.
