Great Location, large rooms with sea view

we chose this hotel because of the location and sea views. the rooms are very spacious, and the bathroom has separate bathtub and shower. balcony is quite big and great for sitting and lookin out over pattaya bay.
breakfast buffet had a huge selection, but the thai options were pretty poor.
hotel is just across the road from the beach, about 5 mins walk from central shopping mall, and about 20-30 mins walk to walking street.
only bad point was that the aircon was very noisy, probably the loudest i've ever heard.

It was a one night stay only but will return there surely. The reception staff were great as with early arrival, the room wasn't expected to be ready. However, they upgraded me to a delux room which was a pleasant surprise. Amenities and decor were all top notch and well deserving of the four star rating. Around the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants and of course the beach. Happy with the choice and teh Discovery should be highky recommended.

This is a quality three star hotel with good sized rooms and pleasant staff. The pool is nice and the location is away from all the noise but easily accessible.

Great hotel but not the best location

Absolutely loved the hotel. Great service.
Cons are- located too close to ledy-bar streets in Pattya. Gym is too small and provides very small range of machines and weights.

The only bad thing i can say about my stay was the wifi in the room was very bad. Had to go down to the pool area, or around the lobby.
Travel tip:
At this time the taxi's (modified trucks) that go up and down Pattay charge 20 Baht but if you ask they will charge you 50 baht ---- (DON'T ASK :) )

Wonderful Room , Great View, Good Location
Room Size, View, Pool, Location , Just about everything

Upgraded myself to a Deluxe Seaview , after staying here last month , in a cheaper room. Quite a difference , nothing tardy about this Room , it was just lovely and waking up to lovely views from all angles was terrific , you really felt like being on a tropical holiday.

Very nice hotel fantastic views

We stayed for 3 weeks with my two elderly parents in a deluxe seaview room.We had a balcony with a wonderful view,staff were very friendly and helpful .Each day we had a very nice buffet breakfast.Location is also good 5 minutes by baht bus to the newest Mall Central with Hilton.
