great location with its access to the beach, ciminas, resturants, night life, shopping malls, markets and shows.the rooms are clean with good facilities ( but the tv`s could be bigger ), the beds are GREAT !!!! big and not too hard.
the swimming pool is good ( the kids love the slide ), also i liked the gym and the service there was good with good advise.

The balcony, big bed and overall size of the room make this a nice place. I found the bathroom a bot awkward and outdated however. The sink area is very small with no room to put anything. Also the harsh fluorescent lights are a bit much for the middle of the night. Staff were efficient and helpful. Location is fine if you don't mind taking the songthaews to other areas. Security is good, but ladyboys stationed out in front calling out to every person coming and going was not a favorite feature.

Discovery Beach Pattaya

We love Pattaya and we love Discovery Beach. We have stayed there 4 times. We love to walk on the beach in the evening. The hotel is also very convenient for the baht buses also. It is also just a short walk to Central Festival which is our favorite mall. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and the pricing of this hotel on the internet is also outstanding. The rooms are spacious and the balcony offers an outstanding view of Pattaya. The only negative is the bathrooms are starting to show some signs of aging such has calk is cracking and starting to turn yellow and door handles, shower handles, etc are prone to breaking. Also the water cycles from hot to cold in the shower which gets old after a while.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We walk to Central Festival everyday. Great movie theatre, bowling alley, and many good places to eat. The prices are also very reasonable for such an upscale mall.

Thank you so much for the surprise birthday cake!!One of the best and enjoyable hotel that I've ever stayed in Pattaya.I enjoy the great seaview from the balcony,the spacious room and the big comfortable bed.Good location and very convenient to go shopping and eating.But the only thing not so satisfied is that I dunno where the ants coming from and they keep walking around the curtains and some of them fallen into my bed which makes me and my boyfriend feel itchy everynight.Overall,I'll recommend my friends to choose this hotel again.

It was well maintained, and the rooms were generally fine. The staff was helpful and it is conveniently located in front of the beach.
One reminder, the check in process requested Agoda guest to show the printed booking confirmation via Agoda. If there's none, it can be quite tedious to open your laptop and show it to them.

A lovely hotel in a great position

This is the 4th time we've stayed at the Discovery Beach and it is excellent value for money. The swimming pool is huge with enough sunbeds to go round. The weekend we stayed was the holiday for the Queen's Birthday/Mother's Day which included a massive international firework competition which went on for 3 hours and was amazing. The hotel was perfectly located for watching this.
Restaurant Tip:
Toscana's Italian restaurant next door to the hotel - excellent.

D-Beach Pattaya

Hotel rooms are nice and quite given the location to Beach Road and night life activities. Dining could be improved by preventing bugs, offering different coffee beverages, and maybe fresh juice choices. D-Beach is rated a 4 star hotel but with a few changes it could be a 4-1/2 or 5 star hotel. We reserved the transportation from BKK to Pattaya and the van was comfortable but smelled.

Restaurant Tip:
Go to end of Jomtien Beach for seafood. Restaurant has a CRAB lgo. Good food and reasonably priced.
