Entrance Discovery beach is a very well located hotel (North Pattaya), 2 min from the beach. View on the Pattaya bay is just amazing (my room wasz at the 11th floor). The room itself is great, spacious with a balcony. Good breakfast with very friendly staff. All this for a very good price, last minute booking. No compulsory dinner for Xmas and New Year's eve is appreciated.
The only bad point is the staff at reception. The only person who speaks English is very disagreeable. The others are too, actually. The plus is free internet ! A very good hotel indeed. Highly recommended !

I stayed on 27Dec to 29Dec with my wife, son and baby. From delax room ,I could see very beautiful sea and sun rize and sun set and fireworks every day. Hotel staff was very kindly and breakfast was delicious. Additionally, my son and baby enjoyed at swimming pool it have water slider and shallow area. I would like to recommend this hotel.

New,nice,fresh,informal,kind staff,location. Nice Hotel,great room in a casual relaxed ambiance for couples & families.
Nothing was forgeted, from pool to car park , although some structures only in necessary small scale (like the free internet room or the gim ).
Breakfast is good. Service also.
Location is splendid. In front of the beach, not in the most bustling zone, but with easy and cheap acess by "songteo" to the main areas of entertainment.
Last, but not the least, the Thai hospitality in this Hotel is well honoured by the kind staff in is best simple way.
Travel tip : "Songteo" is a kind of colective taxi that stops anywhere and cost 10 Baths to any location in the same road (Beach Road /Walking Street).

The front desk which was not luxurious was good. There are few institutions which can be idle in a hotel. Nightlife Tip : There is the large store near, too and is most suitable for both shopping and play at night. A Hotel is quiet, and the room is clean, and the facilities are set, too. The night view from the room is the best.

Beautiful Pattaya view in the room.
Great location.
Delicious buffet breakfast.
Comfortable room.
Good service performance.
Decoration not fashionable.
Difficult to control the water temperature using the shower. The upper floors of the hotel have a great view from the room to see the whole Pattaya. The room and bed is really big in size. The hotel is beside the beach and can just go to the beach in ten seconds. The fruits in the buffet breakfast are so fresh and delicious. Can use the internet service to check emails and news. The staff is helpful and I felt safe to put my personal belongings in the rooms. Just the room decoration is a bit old and I felt difficult to control the water temperature of the shower.

lovely linens, towels and terry bath robe. the hotel is immaculately maintained the staff is less than favorable although you can see that they have been well trained. the issue is they speak little to no English. this is a lovely hotel almost reaching 5 star quality. it is very modern and appointed with beautiful accessories throughout the hotel and in the rooms. the swimming pool area has extremely comfortable teak wood lounges with comfortable padding. the breakfast buffet has a first quality presentation with an omelet station. a waitress will be close to your table throughout your meal. the general manager from Austria is very accommodating and is very professional.
the location is good.
the only negative issue is the no speaking English staff. the general manager has assured me on my return that it will be corrected.

the bathroom is big, with bathtub and shower separately the staff not helpful, cos they not clean up the room tidily

less food store near the hotel We got a sea view room, the room is big and clean. the bed is big and comfortable.
Also, as we have ask for the wifi before we go by email, they reply need to pay the fee per day. Actually, we got the free wifi when we got the room.
The location is good, if walk to the BIG C just around 10 mins. If want to go clubbing, there are many pubs and bars near the hotel. if you want go to Royal garden plaza, if easy to find the "Tuk Tuks"at the beach road, and it just take few mins to go there.
The swimming pool is at the ground floor, it is very clean but small, and you can borrow the towels if you need. If you don’t like the pool, it is easy to go the beach, just walk around few mins.
overall, the hotel is good

Location- Close enough but far enough away!! Night Reception/Security.
Taxi Driver couldn't find hotel initially. Got taxi from Bangkok, initially driver couldn't find hotel, such a big hotel, but positioned sideways between Sois!! Close enough to main attractions, night clubs, shops etc. with excellent taxis for 10 Baht, but peaceful enough if you just want to sit on balcony. Rooms and hotel kept very clean with plenty of staff on hand to open doors, help with bags etc. Excellent business centre if you really need to. Restaurant clean and staff attentive but food possibly not the greatest, although I only had breakfast there, other meals during day were taken at Poolside Terrace. I was on 12th floor so had excellent view across Pattaya and bay but view may not be so good from lower floors. Never used on site massage but friend did and said best massage ever, I'm more an authentic roadside salon kinda guy!! Good pools which kids could play safely in with 2 slides to keep them amused.
Hotel Feature Tip : Friend recommends hotel massage, claims to be best massage ever.

The location, close to the beach, was favourable. A charge, of 1000 Baht to bring back a guest was extortionate; particularly as I had already booked the room for two people.
This less than subtle form of daylight robbery was a nasty attempt to cream off a bit extra from the guests.
The D Beach Hotel had many positive features, but was sadly let down by the hotel's policy to charge 1000 Baht to fetch back a guest.
It is through this policy that I will not be staying at the D Beach Hotel and feel badly let down. Had I known of this policy, prior to booking, then I would certainly not have proceeded.
I fear that, unless this policy is made public, it will not serve to antagonise paying guests and will further alienate any person from making a repeat booking at the D Beach Hotel.
Travel tip : Don't bring a guest back when travelling to the hotel as a lone traveller.

We have a nice view on the 7th floor looking at the beach and the pool. The room and the bed are big..nice pool...the receptions are friendly..the room is clean It was a twin room where a door only separate us from the next hotel room...so I can hear the guy on the next door. The toilet was blocked. the reception staff has limited English conversation skills. Overall, i still enjoyed my stay there...but i think they should put some sound proofing

Hotel staff is pretty nice.
Breakfast was great a little something for everyone's taste.
Room was nice with a nice view. After a certain time no room service. so if your gonna be out a bit late you might wanna pick some food up before you head back.
This was a pretty good place to stay at. It was clean, nice looking, the staff was pretty nice and helpful. And walking st main area is a (5-10min depending on traffic) 20baht ride away.
The only real negative thing i had to say about the place is that room service closed to early for me. With a city built around a jumping night life i would have liked to be able to order some food in my room when i got back. One Note of Caution:
This hotel is right by soi 6 so if you plan on going to sleep early at night anything before 12-1am and your a light sleeper i would pick another hotel.

Modern, clean with an attentive staff. Breakfast area was small and crowded. Internet was expensive and slow. My stay at the Pattaya Discovery beach hotel was very pleasant. The staff was attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. The best feature was the excellent ocean view from the balcony. The internet service from the off site provider was slow and fairly expensive. The location was central to most activities and an easy walk to almost all attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Your attention please:At breakfast I asked for coffee from machine because coffee from the pot had a very bad taste.On the first day ; no problem, on the second day I had to pay but nobody could explain why I had to pay, on the third day my request was simply ignored untill I went to the manager, 10 minutes later I got a cold cup of coffee, very disapponting.....indeed.
Breakfast in general was boring for a European.
Is this a warm Thai welcome ? Nobody helps me to unload my car at arrival, staff was looking at me and my family with hands in their pockets. I came there for 3 nights with 2 rooms, so no peanuts in this time of recession
Hotel is ok for 3 stars but certainly NOT a 4 star hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : go to the island in front of the hotel by boat
