Pinnacle Jomtien Resort & Spa, Pattaya

We really enjoyed our week-end stay at this hotel. We found it very relaxing after the bustle of Bangkok. This part of Jomtien is well away from the unpleasent sleaze of Pattaya and the road along the beach is filled with good Thai restaurants/bars.

This was my ninth visit to thailand and quite frankly, the worst. This was not my hotel of choice, but the only way I could meet some long lost friends was to stay here. I was baffled by the attitude of the staff from check-in to check out. At times they were rude, most of them were unhelpful and unsmiling: not traits I have become accustomed to during my previous visits to Thailand. On check-in, albeit very late at night, I was amazed that no-one wanted to show me to my room. In the end I was taken some of the way to the accommodation block, but after that I had to find my own way in the dark. The room was basic, tired and need of some renovation. I had paid a little more for a sea-view - don't bother, it isn't really worth the extra cost. Breakfast each day was unimaginative and there was no change to the menu day-to-day. Yes it was a buffet, but I have had more variety in most cheaper hotels in Phuket. Worst of all, the lack of welcome I had experienced on arrival was extended to the restaurant. The girl taking room numbers, looked as though she was chewing on a wasp, and despite my best efforts at being charming, I didn't get a smile out of her my whole stay. The worst staff of all were the day reception staff who were unhelpful, uninterested and rude. This staggered me as I have never in all my visits encountered such an attitude from the lovely Thai people. Finally, the sea is not as clear as it is elsewhere in Thailand. Maybe there are strong currents that make it murky, but the chances of seeing clear waters with lots of fish are minimal here. Would I return here? Never! This is quite the worse hotel in which I have stayed in Asia and, there have been many. The hotel has potential, with lovely, large grounds but that's as far as it goes. To summarise - dreadful! Go somewhere else (preferably not Pattaya!).

swimming pool, gym, pool-bar, ping-pong table,volley court, tennis, play ground...you can enjoy what you want to do. It's far from pattaya city. They have shuttle bus service Pattaya ~ hotel, 80THB/P. If you miss the bus, you have to use Song-teao, 300THB.

I had a wonderful time staying at the pinacle resort. i went in December 08 and enjoyed it so much i extended my stay for another week. The hotel was great, the pool was amazing and there are tons of garden deck chairs to soak in the sun in a chilled out atmosphere. The beach is directly in front of the hotel and it was private and absolutely gorgeous. I was there for my birthday and the hotel organized a surprise cake in my mini bar which was really a wonderful touch. My only one down fall to the hotel is that it does need a slight refurbish.. the outside is wonderful and looks great however the rooms air con system really needs some updating as they were old and very very noisy. It is far from town (around 20 mins taxi to the hectic of pattaya) however i knew that and that's what i liked. my holiday here was about totally chilling out, pure relaxing and quiet in a serene environment. Overall it was pretty much the perfect holiday at the perfect hotel.

The pinnacle hotel is a very good hotel. It's perfectly located at the beach, which is a private beach of the hotel. The total setting is very nice. The hotel has a good restaurant with tables located at one of the swimming pools. The employees did surpise me with an entertaining act on one of the nights. I can recommend the hotel to every one. It is very pleasant to stay at the hotel for a week.

It's a good location with private beach. Wide and clean swimming pool. Greenery garden. Easy to find seafood restaurant. Room is normally clean and with private wide balcony. Romantic atmosphere.

Hotel is a bit difficult to find, but once we get there, we can feel a beautiful & peaceful environment right away. Both the swimming pools are nice. Sun bathing near the pool or on the beach are perfect. Our room is a garden-viewed room but okay as we spend most of our times on the beach. Breakfast is not that impressive. Not too many choices. We expect Hotel to have more staff available at the restaurant during breakfast. We were very impressed with Pinnacle Bangkok's staff before so we kind of expect the same here. In the end, though, we’re happy with our trip here.

A bit far from the city, but transfers are available for a fee, the territory is large, so if you are accomodated at the entrance side of the city, you are to walk for 10 minutes before you reach the beach. Everything is in three languages - Eng, Thai, German. Thai food heavily adapted for foreigners, little real Thai taste. Pool and tennis tables are available, although not in a perfect condition.

Hotel is located at jomtien where next to pattaya. Hotel is quiet, so we were relaxed. There are nice facility, tennis court, pool, play garden for child.

They should clean up the beach

The economy rooms that we booked online through Agoda werenot good; we had to upgrade it to standard rooms, wherein we were charged extra. But the standard rooms by the pool are great. The economy rooms are at the far back with no view (and looks like motel rooms).

The hotel is quite big but the service is good. If the family is very good with the winners to have several activities such as tennis, fitness massage, swimming pool, a beach and 2 swimming pools also have a seat rest.The beach, very comfortable and private. If you want to out outside. The hotel is close to the market just 4 only 5-10 minutes drive from South Pattaya, but a little peace and privacy has different
