Excellent(mini suites) sized rooms.The main three restaurants, The Grill, Caprice, The Italian all served world class food with great service and if you stuck to the set menus very good value. Hotel complex is very big and a bit daunting. Breakfast buffet was very crowded though food good. We spent a week at the hotel, eat there every night which is a haven of calm after the bustle of Pattya. Amazing facilities. We used the spa which was faultless. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous which is a credit to the management.It is very difficult to find fault with the hotel. It is big given there are three hotels on the complex.A very large delegation from Korea arrived on the weekend which was a little disruptive. We stayed at the hotel last some 20 years ago so a lot had changed mainly for the good.We would definatley return.
Hotel Feature Tip : Set menus in the restaurants for dinner were fantastic.

Location - away from the turmoil of downtown Pattaya. Ocean View from atop the cliff. Impeccable service. Absence of sandy beach below the hotel. We were already familiar with the stunning ocean view location of the hotel and the beautiful landscaping on the hotel lands. What we didn't know was the high quality of service, from the reception welcome, to the servers and waiters at the breakfast buffet, to chamber maids and parking lot attendants - all were beyond our expectations.

it was secluded and a respite from the noise, hustle and bustle of Pattaya. The room was large and the hotel elegant and traditional. The room and original part of the hotel was a little dated. Although the hotel and surroundings are pleasant, it is still not easy to get into the town. Perhaps a 15 min taxi ride On my arrival the lady at check in asked me for a 'printed' document showing my booking through agoda. This is surprising given the difficulty of printing documents whilst travelling around. However, after speaking to the manager he quickly resolved the issue and my reservation was located. The staff were very friendly but you had an immediate sense that the hotel's heyday was 25 or 30 years previous but the room had been renovated perhaps within the last 10 years. The view from my balcony was elevated and seaward facing out over the large and peacefull pool area.

Beautiful setting, room was nice and clean, good restaurants. Poor house keeping, bathroom was a bit crammed. For a hotel of this stature, service needs enormous improvement. Shopping Tip : The mall at the city centre by the beach roadis pretty good for shopping.

the facilities and service both first class no cons the ability to be just far away from the hustle and bustle of pattaya was a bonus what can i say if you want to treat yourself to something special, well the royal cliff beach hotel is for you. the breakfast was out standing. the lunch was very good too. ate at japanese restraunt as well as the others.the pool was clean and refreshing never played golf, or time to work out in gym but had a look and they were very good also.overall i would recomend to anyone.
Travel tip : if you want to get away and just relax and be spoilt this hotel is for you.

Lots of activities at the hotel. Good view from the hotel rooms overlooking the beach. On a cliff & hence going upto the beach road was a pain & proved very costly. A very beautiful hotel with a lot of activities in the hotel. View from the hotel room was breath taking. Kids enjoyed swimming, tennis & golfing. Staff were very courteous & overall the stay was very pleasant. The only disadvantage was that it is a little far from the beach road & hence going upto the beach road was difficult & costly.

Amazing rooms with superb decorating. Friendly and highly competent staff. Outstanding grounds with very private beaches. An abundance of restaurants with unlimited choices of cuisine. Taxis offered by the hotel were four times as expensive as taxis from the city. Royal Cliff Beach Resort was one of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed in during my 30+ years of traveling. It's located atop a cliff and peninsula that gives most places on the 64 acre compound amazing ocean views. The rooms are 5-star quality, as are the facilities and staff. You should definitely take advantage of the inclusive breakfast buffet. The cuisine choices were offered from several different continents.
I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for an amazing and relaxing getaway that's just far enough away from the hustle-bustle of Pattaya City itself.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Avoid the "Tuk-Tuk" taxis, which are the open-air taxis on top of motorcycles. Invariably the driver will offer you a discounted price for your ride, however it almost always comes with a stop along the way to your destination at a shop or vendor a that they promise you will give you "bargain" prices (which never were).

The pool and the pool bar are a plus plus.
The staff are friendy and always with a smile to help you.

under construction noise early even on sunday, private party on beach sat night front desk said it would stop 1am continued to 3am would never go back, along with the noise,they nickel n dime u , the sauna is extra mony , the hotel taxi to town is 400 baht , the local taxi is 150,they no longer allow outside local taxi on site, we took golf cart free to main gate n got taxi 3 min down mt to town

The hotel itself is very good (but a little old). Staff are very polite and kind. The swimming pool is very nice. However, when we stayed, they were renovating the building and it was very noisy whole day. I could not relax at the room and had to go the pool side or somewhere. I recommend to go to the pool of the fitness club of the hotel (not just near the hotel). It was very nice.

under construction, noise starts before 9 am even on sunday, private party till 3 am outside , coulnt seepsat nt told by front desk party would end 1 am would never go back, although the hotel was empty i ghad to write a letter as i was moved to a quiet area after no sleep sat nt from party on beach,theywanted more mony 4 me to stay in room and i refused to move and wrote a letter explainin the construction was never on their web site, they wrote back saying i could stay , my point is i should not have had to beg , they should have offer , also they do not allow taxi on premises forcin u o take their taxi for 400 baht =12 usd to town,
Hotel Feature Tip : private beach walk to the left theres some ladies who do massage under trees for 300 baht= 10$usd ,next to that theres a local food place fresh juices salads on the beach , at 5pm sit on sea wall and waves crash over u watchin sunset most excellent
