Big hotel on hill and seaside view

This is first time we visit royal cliff, the cleanliness is good up to 5 star hotel standard. Libation us so big it make us difficult to travel around sometime. Private large fitness club is good but stay remotely from hotel. My kids feel good about location but for seashore it very dirty, we cannot walk on the sea shore.

Nice hotel but a bit far from the city centre
8.3
The hotel is nice, with big room and good breakfast. We have a good time relaxing there especially in the infinity pool. Only one thing I do not like is the location of the hotel. You always have to overpay before u can get to the city center which is just a few kms away. But sure if you are going nowhere and just want to spend your time chilling and relaxing there, I definitely recommend this hotel to you.

Great room, great ambience and outlook
Wide choice of rooms, restaurants and facilities without having to leave the complex.

even though i had previously visited the hotel i had never stayed there. i am glad i did stay on this occasion. the check in was efficient and seemless. i was more than happy also when advised i would be upgraded to a "beach terrace room. this wing location was in a relatively private and quiet position close to and having an outlook to the sea.
i have to admit the room was so comfortable and pleasant that the only reason to leave it was to go to the restaurant or to use the many pools available or other facilites.
the room was most spacious with a very large external balcony with sun lounges. it also featured a grand bathroom and oversize lcd tv.
the hotel provides many restaurant options (11 in fact), but i found the main panorama restaurant was more than adequate, although it did suffer from overcrowding and noise at times. the restaurant staff from manager keree down were always most obliging and attentive.
the rooms are maintained in a high standard, but the only minor comment i would make is that room servicing is only done late in the afternoon. this means if one wants to utilise the room during the day, then personal tidying up is necessary.
i shall certainly be making royal cliff another visit when next returning to pattaya.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is located a little way out of Pattaya, albeit a 10 min ride into town. The hotel does provide a shopping shuttle (which I did not use), but also has the option of using their vehicles - a 400 baht fee (AUD 16 approx) prevails for a trip - say to Jomtien area.
Otherwise, there is a shuttle to the main gate where one can then catch a local vehicle (fee negotiable) to downtown Pattaya - or where-ever. Alternatively motor cycles can also be obtained - driver and helmet provided - fees also negotiable.

Good atmosphere both in and out of the room
Good facilities both restaurant and recreational places

its very most impressive. the hotel is good located amongst the mountain back plus sea front. the breakfast is various especially deep fried chinese bun freshly cooked and served. the swimming pools offers the guests to select as per individually prefer. personally i really enjoy staying here than other 5 star hotels in the north pattaya.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you have a time, spend a half day to drive golf on the upper hill court of the hotel. Or a game of tennis is interesting

Good hotel with nice view and many facilities
Various swimming pools, nice view
8
Room is spacious and big, hotel is also very big, occupying most of the mountain top area with different towers and swimming pools available.
There's even an elevator to bring you to the beach below, where you can rent boats/jetskies.
Ideal for a honeymoon and if you do not want to stay in the bustling noisy street of Pattaya.
However it is a bit inconvenient to get to the market/pubs area, you have to take the hotel buggy to the main mountain road and pay a taxi to go down.
