generally good, although expect the basics (too basic for the price compared to other hotels) - that said enjoyed the stay
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking street if you want to see the wild side of Pattaya, else there's lots for family entertainment including the Million Year Stone Park, Tiger Kingdom, and so many temples in surrounding area and the city itself.
Keep the kids away from Walking Street - strictly adults only in my opinion, but there's plenty of other attracts to see. Also try the markets runnign in many locations throughout the city

Huge rooms and foyer, friendly staff.
8.3
we (wife, 15 month son and me) enjoyed our stay here. the rooms are very large and carpeted; which was ideal as our son is a toddler and he gets to run around and has softer landings when the walking does not go so well. nice views from the balcony, we were on the 11th floor. the room service is very reasonable, and as a result we used it....in our 7 week stay in thailand this is the first time we used it. the service was prompt and the food good. we ordered thai dishes, so i am not sure how the western food was.
the staff are great, always calling out to our son and grabbing him (and giving us a break) and showing him around.
Hotel Feature Tip:
In room LAN for a day was very good.
Wait till after 0730 from breakfast as all the package tours would have gone and you will have the place to yourself.

lobby very dark, seems to set the mood for hotel.
staff friendly, but breakfast is buffet and very ordinary. wife is asian and she would not eat their fried rice!
asked for non smoking room and when we arrived the room had a bad smell. asked housekeeping and they sprayed the room and opened the doors and they told us to leave for a while. room eventually lost it's bad smell but disconcerting to start with
Restaurant Tip:
Sizzlers is just across the road in Royal Garden Plaza, great steaks and excellent salad bar and very reasonable priced. 3 people dining total bill
