Rooms are good, safe and quiet usually. Pleasant staff now better than before. Ok Breakfast and nice pool. Have stayed many times and would recommend. Easy access to all themain areas via the 10 baht bus available at Soi 2 which you can walk through to.
Lousy lighting. Have to pay for internet it seems although I think they had issues during my stay as I could connect for free
Sabai Lodge is a pleasant and newish resort hotel. Often used by golf tours and usually avoiding the low end of the market - i.e. the noisy yobs who book the cheaper hotels, it is usually quiet. Easy access to the bars and clubs at soi 2 - check outhe Honey Pot and also a short trip on the 10 baht bus into town makes for easy access to the other bars in Waling Street and around. I recommend this hotel having stayed there often. Good breakfast for the class and they offer that until 11am and you are not hurried or upset if you are late. Take care of internet access as I think they normally charge for the wi-fi - why hotels do this these days beats me as it is a cause for frequent complaint - but otherwise thoroughly recommended
Nightlife Tip : Live band in Honey Pot top of soi 1 are good for near hotel fun. What's up stil the best go-go bar followed by Angelwitch if you have never been - they are found on Walking Street - you can't miss them.

Close to beach ( 4 mins )
Close to Shops ( 4 mins )
Picked this Hotel from Agoda based on the other Agoda reviews.
We were not disappointed.
The Breakfast was very good, open long hours and staff very friendly.
Hotel is clean, not new, but not tired also.
Front desk staff do nto smile and do not go out of their way to be friendly - This is the only complaint !!! ( not too bad )
The hotel is extremely well situated - short walk to the Main Beach and also short walk to Big C shopping Centre.
There are many restaurants in the immediate area ( also many Bars if you want ladies ) and the real local Thai eateries are very very good and inexpensive.
The Hotel is in a very very quiet location - close to all the action, but far enough not to be disturbed at night time by bars, discos and street life.
My wife and I would definitely`stay here again if we ever came back to Pattaya ....
Shopping Tip : Big C is just 5 mins from Hotel ( up the road )

- clean
- good breakfast
- centrally located
- in room safe
- no snacks in the minibar, drinks only
- laundry service relatively expensive
- small regular tv
- room getting old
A nice - value for money hotel centrally located with good breakfast. Some staff understand and speak English just fine. The swimmingpools are nice and really clean and the poolboy offeres beach towels to all hotel guests. Rooms will need refurbishment within 2 years or so, they are beginning to become outdated. Overall I would recommend this hotel it's a good value for money!
Shopping Tip : The're is a very inexpensive laundry service in the same street of the Sabai Lodge entrance next to the 'Master Harry Potter Taylor shop'. Right next to it you can find a hairdresser as well, I had a haircut for 150 Bath!

Not much cheaper than a great 4star hotel i stay at, rooms need some new decor
My stay at this hotel was fine not great but not bad either, maybe a bit overpriced for what you get but the staff were great and the room was kept clean, plus this hotel allows lady guests with out chargeing you like some others, plus only a 2 minute walk from the beach
Travel tip : 2 minutes from the beach and 30 seconds from the classroom 2 bar and shopping centre

Quiet. Good swimming pool
All in all I will say it's a good hotel. But I think we where a bit unlucky with our room. First of all the bathroom. The water did not go away after you showered. You had your own swimmingpool after taking a shower. The same with the sink, it was blocked too. Not very funny. We had to much ants too in our room. Otherwise the facilities was nice. They had a big snooker table next to the big swimmingpool where you could play for free. The smaller swimmingpool was very nice, the dolphin pool. Very nice to relax by that pool. The thing I was very unhappy about was that I had been to a clinic for some laser treatment. I had 5 small tubes with cream that I had to use on my wounds, but I managed to forget them in my room when I checked out. I call the hotel later and ask about the cream, if they found it my room after I checked out. But the answer was no!?!? I dont understand why they dont take care of things their guest forget in their room after checked out, when they see that it might be important they could keep it for at least 24 hours so the former guest have a chance to retrive it.

Great location, great facilities, great staff.
Had a great stay here, location is perfect, near most things but far enough away to be quiet & away from it all, also big c is at the top of the road for shopping. 4 swimming pools & the food is good too. You can't go wrong for the money & I will be returing soon. Walking distance to the beach & only a 10 baht trip in the baht bus down to walking street or 40 baht if you fancy the fun & games on a motorbike taxi.
Nightlife Tip : Atlantic bar near big c is great fun.

found that the cheapers rooms were noisy due to being next to a road.
Lovely hotel, great location, shame it was abit noisy. Having been to pattaya, i found this hotel was in my ideal place, near the beach, near big c, near to good lively bars and only a short ride away from walking street. the hotel has four pools, snooker, internet (though it was very slow),a bar and a restaurant where you get your free breakfast, if you make it? the rooms are a decent size and they have a remote control next to the bed that controls everything, nice touch.
Hotel Feature Tip : pay a bit more for one of the better rooms or ask not to be on the bottom floor

Food in restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Staff very efficient and friendly. Not overcrowded. good location for shops, bars, beach etc. Cleanliness of common areas and bedrooms was always good.Replenished water in rooms was a welcome. Would definitely come again.Could not fault anything.
Nightlife Tip : Close to bars, restaurants, all evening action, shopping malls, Baht bus directly outside hotel.

Location was good and the salathai restaurant was excellent. Clean rooms and service minded personnel.
ADSL trough internal Internet room upon request is to old fashion for me. Why not offer Wi-Fi service on all rooms, that is a key factor for me, so next time I will search for a Wi-Fi Hotel.
The location of Soi 2 was excellent and the surrounding area was nice. A really calm and cosy hotel with clean rooms and a clean Pool, based on the formation of the buildings it´s important that all hotel guest have there "space" and freedom to relax. This week was a little bit noisy because hotel guest and they really was liking "Jack Daniels whiskey" so the afternoon was not a good time for relaxing out at pool area, so it should be some rules about heavy drinking in group, that calm down the load from groups joining the afternoon sun, this time it was to noisy around pool area.
Restaurant Tip : Japanese restaurant at Big C was the best experience on this trip.

Good location.
Nice swimming pool.
Good breakfast.
Standard rooms without view.
We stayed at Sabai Lodge on February 2009. We ordered a non smoker room and got a very smelly smoker room at first, and on request a 2nd smoker room (not so smelly...).
The view in the standard room is just a wall 1 mtr. away from the window.
Breakfast was excellent. The hotel has 2 Pools which are o.k.
The location is well linked to Pattaya Center.

the location was right in the heart of pattaya night life ,but very quite hotel, just around the corner from all th4e bars ect .the beach was just a short walk down the road 3 minutes .
the towels could have been better .and only 1 spare power point in the room .
as i said this hotel is in the heart of the night life .but just down a side street so it was very quite indead, also the beach is just a short walk down the street.I found the staff to be pleasant all in all i would go back to this hotel asit s good value for money.
Shopping Tip : there is a large shopping mall at the top of the street .great fot all your bits and bobs .and food halls are there to.
