Very good hotel

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and was really happy even though there was a small problem with drainage after shower (the floor was flooded because slow drainage). It was fixed by asking house keeper give me more towel to put on the floor. Other than that, everything was excellent. With the pool in the area, close beach (5 min walk), close by Big C center (where you can check internet, shopping,etc..) and especially street vendors serving cheap and excellent food. The room is large and clean. The included breakfast is ok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
From the hotel, walk toward soi 5 (about less 10min walk) you may want to see Alzacar show (transvestite performers). It is famous and actually very good. Also you can take motorbike to go to Hali Hi pier (about 30-40 Baht) and take ferry (30 baht) to go to Kor Lahn island to enjoy the beach there (with good food and some water sports).

basic but comfortable
The rooms were spacious, the pool areas were nice, and the hotel was far away enough from the main strip to be quiet and peaceful at nights.

For a three star hotel, Sabai Lodge exceeded expectations with very spacious rooms, large beds and all the basic amenities including ample closet space, a minibar fridge, cable TV and a large bathroom. In terms of location, Sabai Lodge is close enough to Pattaya's main strip, and is easily accessible by taxi, yet far away enough that one isn't pummelled by the noise of nightlife outside. The service from the staff was low-key, but polite and helpful.
Having said that, Sabai Lodge is a good three star hotel, and many of its amenities, while functional, seem outdated. For one, I would dispense with the combined fixed lights/TV console in favor of a regular TV remote and a separate light switch console. The air conditioners (also attached to said console) could also be improved, and perhaps a few more bathroom amenities would be nice.
Overall, for the price, Sabai Lodge Hotel is a decent stay, and a definite step up from backpacker accommodations. While I wouldn't rate the hotel on the level of a resort, it fulfills the basic functions of a hotel reasonably and comfortably. I was satisfied overall, but not overwhelmed.

This was a very surprising find. The price was great and the staff more than friendly. The pools were nice size and clean. The rooms in the large pool wing are much nicer than the rooms in the actual sabai lodge - well worth the extra money. Good value for money with helpful hotel staff.
Located close to the beach, walking distance to night life shows like Alcazar and always have several taxis outside the hotel. Hotel staff suggest what you should pay for taxi for different trips to taxi drivers. Breakfast was good and was included in price.

Take taxi to Buddha temple and then over to the view point where you get a good view of Pattaya City.

One of my favorite places to stay in Pattaya for the money. The pool area is large and fun. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. It's about a 100 meter walk to the beach or to the Big C shopping center. It is convenient to reach the songtaow route (Thai minibus) yet far enough away from the major Walking Street and soi 8 nightlife areas to be relatively quiet. The maid service was pleasant as well.

The hotel is located in quiet location and is a few minutes walk from the beach & the Big C shopping mall.
It is a well run hotel & is kept clean and the inclusive breakfast is quite good.
Swimming pools are very nice with plenty of sun beds however some guests get up early to reseve for later!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Baht bus runs along Beach road towards Walking Street & returns along Second Road (alight at Big C for the hotel.

My stay in Sabai Lodge was very nice, with a neat and tidy room provided. Reception were very polite, and ground staff very friendly. I found the location ideal. Close to the beach as well as the night life. Room rate was reasonable and I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and still want good quality accomodation.The bfood in the dining room was excellent. If I have any complaints, it only refers to the need of more internet cafe PC's in the hotel.
