Unfair of me, probably
Since I hated pattaya I guess my review can only be warped but although the communal parts of this hotel look great my room was an old box with no window. The hotel controls the AC so I was freezing and with no sound insulation to speak of I was woken up several times by drunken returning customers till 4am...I certainly wouldn't go back but then I have no intentions of going back to Pattaya on the whole

As we were outside our room a cleaner and another staff member could not help but pass us many times obviously perving at my wife in a very obvious manner. Also we came back late one night and my wife was stopped and asked for her ID as if she was a bar girl

Lovely grounds, very quiet in May so no atmosphere in the bar area
Even in one of the rooms towards the back you could still hear music into the early hours.

Ok but closer to a 6
Hotel was average, and fairly tired in places.

WE STAYED IN ROOM 727, ROOM WAS VERY DARK LIKE LIVING IN A CAVE, ONLY ONE DOWN LIGHTER IN THE LIVING AREA, not enough plugs in the room so need to bring a multi adaptor, (which we always bring) a bit annoyed as a long trek to reception, we go by reception 4 times get back to the room and they had changed the wi fi codes, a small thing but they could have given us the new code when we collected the room keys, so i had to walk back to get the new ones.the grounds were nice, two nice pools (3, but one closed for repairs) had the pool to ourselves most days, its a bit of the way out for night life, but a 120 baht scooter does the trick, daytime you can cross busy second road walk down a small soi and right on the beach. all in all a nice time, and low season, a great bargain

Sabai Resort
Stayed here for 10 years maintains good standards for the price. You can lay a lot more elsewhere but Sabai gives value for money.

Central Centre is under renovation, there is no place to shop around.
Sabai Resort still a nice place to stop. Staff are helpful and friendly. A quiet place to stay.
