this hotel is a good hotel if you are travelling with friends and staying in a 4-5 star hotel - but require some privacy on occasions when you want to take a friend somewhere other than your nice hotel. It is basic with its look and not very comfortable to sleep in. But it does the job as a place to party in for a couple of hours a day.

Amaaaazing stay
Room was clean and too good for a bachelor to stay few nights, service was excellent, few seconds walk to the beach road. What more do you want ???? :-)
If you wanna more just walk to the beach road and go towards your left which would head to "Walking Street" the best place to hang out for hours not even knowing :-)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just walk out of the dining area and you would find everything left, right and center :-))))))))

The Sawasdee Sea View hotel has its advantage in location, but that is about all. There is an extremely minimal sea-view from any of the rooms. The standard rooms are extremely cramped and do not do justice to the pictures published at this site. The bed is rickety, and the air-conditioner is an ancient piece which takes for ever to cool the room. Breakfast has limited servings of meats/egg, and is served on the front porch for the observation of all passersby.

Please do not even consider this hotel and you will do yourself a favour! I think it is better to stay with the tent on the street! We booked this hotel just for a night, because in the morning we went to Bangkok. I can be very honest: I have never ever been and seen such a thing before:dirty, stinky, dusty, sticky, all sort of little animals and flights,no shower,it is attached to the wall above the toilet, so you can do your things and take a shower!!BRRrr!Disgusting place!!!Big mistake!!We slept only 2 hours there with all the possible lights on!!
Travel tip:
The most scariest horror movie is better then this hotel!Better for that money which you pay there for a night buy yourself a tent and stay on the street and you will realise that there was no difference!If you happy with this - this hotel is of your choice, but don't think you want this on your holidays!:)

seaview haha all i could see was an old dump

really if you dont want to pay much and dont care much you might accept some things from this hotel but the staff are useless and dont care i dont expect much when i pay this price but clean food and clean room is a must for any hotel

two diffrent buildings , the elevator..! the doors of the room n bathroom...! d wall gap between the room n bathroom ...! d miroor in the bathroom ...! the breakfast the food very bad...! the standard rooms were so bad...! had to pay extra and uprgade to superior rooms though they were also waste of money...! the two nite sty was a waste of money ..! d remote wasnt working the bathroom door latch was broken no towels nothing very bad sty..!

Good Location, but strange design
1. very good location, near the beach & shopping mall
2. comfortable bedroom (sup class)

Went there for 2 nights stay in their superior room. And quite suprisingly their room is spacious for our average asian size. Comes with a bath tub too (I love bath tub!) Breakfast was ok though (not bad for a budget hotel). The beach is Less than 3 mins walk across the road. Reception is friendly. Travel to Walking streets took about 10 minutes walk depending on your speed.
Restaurant Tip:
Seafood garden near walking street. Muay Thai boxing and Cheap food and Beer with nice sea view. Best for those on budget
