spacious room,friendly reception desk even at the heigth of the season. breakfast bar toaster needed servicing i stayed at the siam hotel for the full period of 2 days with my family even we was only there for a short period i got to know the reception staff and was supprised how well they coped under pressure of a full hotel.the pool was clean and the hotel was placed in a central location for us,
Shopping Tip : there was much nightlife near hotel the local taxis ran freely all day and not all that far from the beech.

Nice swimming pool Room furnishings a bit outdated and spartan.
Lighting is inadequate. Could not read paper, book or brochures in evening. The Swasadee Siam is the groups flagship hotel in Pattaya.
It is excellent for value and especially location.
Anywhere you want to go is within ten minutes walk. Baht bus and Motorci taxis are readily available at the hotel entrance.
The rooms are spacious but the furnishing is a bit spartan. Rooms are clean and the air conditioning actually worked too well.
Reception was efficient and the safe deposit boxes were free of charge.
I tried booking on the internet with the hotel website but Agoda almost halved the price.
It is not 4/5 star but completely adequate for a break in Pattaya.
Nightlife Tip : so many bars and restaurants within 500m that you are spoiled for choice.
Try Butchers Arms across the road for English cask beer and cider and excellent farang food. Great.

Pool looked ok, drinks were cheap, rooms were fine - breakfasts were dodgy, but apart from that no complaints. Location was ok too, not too close to anything, but plenty of baht buses to get you around - although getting a taxi that knew where the hotel was did cause a few problems! Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay - tho definitely not for families or honeymooners! :p
