Short Stay Pattaya
Hotel has a Pool, Buffet Breakfast is worth a visit but dont expect a Full English, Reception Staff are OK'ish, other Staff are a lot more freindly. 24Hr 7/11 oposite the Hotel with Bars and Resturants seconds away.

First off, I did read the reviews before booking this Hotel and was somewhat unsure what to expect as most of the reviews where from unsatisfied Guests, (New Year) so I decided to take the plunge.
The Rooms are very basic with TV, Fridge and Aircon, but quiet large and clean. The Bathroom was basic but again clean. Would I stay again? yes I would, its not the place you would want to spend your Honeymoon but for valve for money I was pleasantly surprised.
If your like Me and enjoy a Tea or Coffee in your Room then buy a cheap kettle before you go also you will need a couple of 2 pin mains adapters to charge your Mobile, Laptop etc.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Some good Bars and Food all within walking distance, Some 24 Hours so it can be noisy, but this is Pattaya!

I booked this hotel very late but was very happy with the hotels location in Central Pattaya. The staff were friendly, even when very busy. The breakfast was ample and well stocked. The pool was very convenient and well presented. Even though my stay here was only 3 nights I can recommend this hotel to other possible customers as a lower priced hotel in a good location.
Nightlife Tip:
Being central there were many bars and restaurants in the close vicinity. To go further afield it was very easy and cheap to use the many songtels that pass by the hotel.

i stayed at the siam hotel for the full period of 2 days with my family even we was only there for a short period i got to know the reception staff and was supprised how well they coped under pressure of a full hotel.the pool was clean and the hotel was placed in a central location for us,
Shopping Tip:
there was much nightlife near hotel the local taxis ran freely all day and not all that far from the beech.

The Swasadee Siam is the groups flagship hotel in Pattaya.
It is excellent for value and especially location.
Anywhere you want to go is within ten minutes walk. Baht bus and Motorci taxis are readily available at the hotel entrance.
The rooms are spacious but the furnishing is a bit spartan. Rooms are clean and the air conditioning actually worked too well.
Reception was efficient and the safe deposit boxes were free of charge.
I tried booking on the internet with the hotel website but Agoda almost halved the price.
It is not 4/5 star but completely adequate for a break in Pattaya.
Nightlife Tip:
so many bars and restaurants within 500m that you are spoiled for choice.
Try Butchers Arms across the road for English cask beer and cider and excellent farang food. Great.

Stayed there knowing it was a budget hotel, and it was fine! Nothing fancy (particularly the breakfasts), but has everything you would expect from a budget hotel. Pool looked ok, drinks were cheap, rooms were fine - breakfasts were dodgy, but apart from that no complaints. Location was ok too, not too close to anything, but plenty of baht buses to get you around - although getting a taxi that knew where the hotel was did cause a few problems! Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay - tho definitely not for families or honeymooners! :p

First impression was that I have got less then have been paid. Pictures were more interesting. Walls covered by glossy paint. There is no hot water, heater only for duch.
But one day later the hotel become more comfortable. Breckfast is good. Swimming pool is cute, but lack of place for sunbathing.
Ratang chears are comfortable.

There were no reedeming features about this hotel.

For the price that I paid 1300 baht plus,the hotel was a real disappointment!The location was poor,the room size was OK but everything else in the room was not up to standard.Smelly dank towels,very poor lighting,view of a dusty filed,aircon that blew hot and cold.All in all a bad experience and i would not reccomend this hotel.

very helpful staff, good value for the money. Not far from much of the night life, even if you are on foot, rather centrally located. Great swimming pool, with good service at pool side. Easy Parking.
Restaurant Tip:
Cherry's restaurant is one block away on 3rd street....worth a visit if you would like a really great 5 course meal, at a 2 course price
