The hotel is very close to the main strip but just far enough back to enjoy the cheaper bars and restaurants, sometimes at half the price of Walking Street and Beach Road.

The location is fairly good but you miss the tuk-tuks you find in most Thai cities. Had to take (expensive) songthaews to get to night district (Walking street).
Restaurant Tip : Very good Thai restaurant 200 m to the left from hotel entrance, at a bus stop opposite market area.

Nice pool area but can be hard to get a sun deck chair. I think this is a problem at most hotels.

So far from beach road. If you want to go to the beach, getting a motorcycle taxi is better.
