near to beach and shopping malls
not so quiet, fleas found on the bed
The lower floors are not so quiet, and rooms are smaller. For 3rd floor, it is quieter and cleaner.
Air conditioning is noisy. Breakfast is not so attractive. The cafe service is not acceptable
Restaurant Tip : There are many choices of foods around the hotel.

Unfriendly restaurant staff. Desk staff tried TWICE to keep my key deposit of 500 baht. Even though I had the first receipt, they wanted it when I had to change rooms. Then they tried to keep my 500B and upon check out they tried again!
Sawasdee mansion, is in a pretty good location. Every time you leave or enter the hotel,the clothier asks you to come in and buy his clothes even though I told him to leave me alone. The hotel also has a sign offering to give a free tuk tuk to the other Sawadee hotels but won't call them. I see the tuk tuk coming to MY hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you are elderly or have a climbing problem, do not take a room over the 2nd floor. I had a room on the 4th floor.

Good price and central to all action
This was the lowest price hotel I found on the internet and was pleasantly suprised. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke good English and could not have been more friendly. The rooms were a bit tired looking and quite small but could not complain for the price of about 14 US$ including breakfast. Ive stayed in more expensive hotels which were a lot worse. If you just want a cheap bed for a few nights this hotel is OK
