Solo travelers Turkey, January 23, 2013	Smile but poor service Good english scale 8 i stayed about 8 days in shakespaare hotel.plase note that by taxi it is 15 minutes to walking street. hotel is in the center of jomtien beach which is 10-15 minutes to pataya center by taxi. but by time i liked jomtien beach more than pataya. it is cheeper an peacefull. beach is long enough. durin my stay hotel crew was so professional and smilely face.

Solo travelers Australia, January 04, 2013	Low quality hotel with amateur service Room size OK 4.3 I arrived about 6pm,and the first thing I found in my room was somene else's shoes and socks. There was some sticky stuff clinging to the phone which wasn't working anyway. Theres NO LIFT, so I walked down (5 floors, stairs littered with tissues etc), again, and was told the phones are all out of service.There is only ONE helpful lady receptionist who changed my room for me, but the others at reception CANNOT understand even the simpest English. A lousy hotel,(its no more than a Motel), I checked out the next day, after a cold measly breakfast, which is free. Hotel Feature Tip: Take a room on the 1st or 2nd floor- no lift.Breakfast is minimal.

Families with older children India, December 27, 2012	Poor service, not clean, not recommended Located close to Jomtien Beach 2.7 We were given a room on the 5TH floor and there are no lifts.The floor seemed sticky and dirty. The room was damp and stuffy. The staff are not well conversant in English and the hotel is located in South Pattaya..far from the city centre.
