Location, room comfort and amenities, staff, pool area

This report could be simply expressed with the words “ stay here”. I have been a guest at the Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel 4-5 times this year already. I use the term ”been a guest” because this hotel goes out of its way to make you feel "a guest". This is simply the best hotel I stay in , in Asia. My work takes me to pretty much all corners of the globe and as a result I stay allot of nights in hotels of various quality and service levels. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya really does try and make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as they can. The staff are brilliant, always smiling, helpful and very very happy to help with anything. This of course reflects on the management at this hotel as you don’t get exemplary service in the hotel business if you don’t have outstanding hotel management. Siam Bayshore Pattaya could best be described as close to everything but far from the madness… it’s close to all the restaurants and bars on Walking street but its far enough away that at night sitting by the pool it’s just you and the occasional chirp of geckos and crickets. The pool area is very relaxing and nice for adults with fun theme slide for young ones. They have a great poolside drink and food menu as well.. Rooms are very clean and well appointed with lots of room…. get a pool side room…its worth it. Its little details I like and things like a little well lit magnifying mirror to shave by next to the basin, things like internet which is blazingly quick, things like afternoon cookies which they drop off… So many hotels tell you they offer great service but rarely do they deliver. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya just does it constantly.. every time. In writing this I’m trying to offer the reader a balanced view and also mention some things that the hotel could do better or improve on… but I’m scratching my head to think of any with this hotel….. If your coming to Pattaya then the Siam Bayshore Pattaya is the place to stay whether you’re here on business or vacation .

Restaurant Tip : Great outddor seafood dining a few minutes from hotel. Its called marine seafood and you just walk on down Walking Street and turn right into the side road when you see GoodFellas as follow it through to a bir open area which is covered. Great food at very good prices

Great location and friendlt staff.

Breakfast is expensive (over 700 BHTS per person). You need to book with breakfast.

I stayed for four nights and had great time. Location is great and staff are very friendly. Great BBQ dinner by the sea and foods are great.

Nice gardens, great rooms, fantastic swimming pool, great location

None.

I stayed there for two days recently and really enjoyed my stay. Hotel looks great and the room are large and comfy. I was told that garden veiw rooms are of better quality that the Ocean view once. I stayed in Garden View. Staff are very friendly and th hotel is stratigically located in the corner of the night life (not in middle of it) just of the beach. Great swimming pools in the garden area and by the beach. Can't wait to go back and stay again. The restauant looks great. Wish the service was faster. The staff greet you nicely and rush to sit you down but then it becomes tricky to get their attention and get aquick cup of coffee. I had one meal in the restaunt and the food was fine.

A quiet resort near the jetty with good and close access to the beach and the 'bar strip'. Good breakfast and good staff.

The pool side food arrangments were ordinary and the room air conditioning had to work overtime as the verandah doors did not close properly - this was fixed effectively by the maintenance staff.

This a good mid range resort suitable for a weekend or short break for adults. The swimming pool was a good size as were the rooms. You neeed to take a taxi to downtown Pattaya where the market and modern shopping centre is located but taxis are cheap and available. Children will enjoy the pool at the resort but probably should not be exposed to the 'bar strip' along the beach front at night. Many boats depart for the adjacent islands from the pier 400 meters away. There is a good but expensive hotel buffet available every night overlooking the beach with a small band.

Shopping Tip : Check out the local shopping centre. It has a great food court, movie house and good air conditioning if it outside gets too hot and humid for you.

good position , you can walk to all the night life , and the beach

No hot water in the hand basin of the bathroom for shaving, you have to pay for wireless internet in the room

The hotel is spacious ,and celubrious, it feels like a four star hotel. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well kept, the staff are freindly, the gym is quite well equiped, and the pool area is relaxed with shaded areas. There are safety deposit boxes free of charge, the hotel feels secure, yet there is an element of freedom and space . The restaurant facilities are good with a private area on the beach , I would reccomend this Hotel and would stay again.

Hotel is located just at the end of the Walking Street which is an ideal place to stay. Selling point of the hotel is the second swimming pool which is located on the coast of beach, staff are very friendly and offered us complimentry fresh juice at least once per day. Breakfast is excellent and loads of variety for vegetarians.

Great staff , great rooms, nice breakfast area and real nice want to come back feel to hotel.

Having to check out

As a frequesnt business traveller to Thaialnd Im a real fand of Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel. This is my fourthe time there this year and quite frankly it keeps getting better. They have a very strong mangement supprted top down quality policy which really shows in their staff. The staff couldnt be more helpful and willing. The rooms particularly my faourite pool soide room 109 are just finctional clean and roomy. I literally have to cratch my head to come up with anu negative issues and I cant find any despite staying there over 4 weeks this year already. For family , business traveller, solo traveller and couples tjhis hotel is great value, greay loaction and best of all makes YOU the customer feel like you are the reason they are there... So many hotels have lost this

Room are far from the lobby.

The hotel is in the "walking street" that this is the main street in pattaya. All the bars, disco and...women in this street. The hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Hygine clean room and bed, pretty pool

Restaurant. Always competeing with many flies and ants.

Second best hotel in Railey area. Good for those who love field wild lives and clean Air Conditioned bedding. Better to cobsider to spray herb organic insect reppelment in every morning for more comfort. Room (Spa resort) in calm and enoughly spacious. Location is quite nice. Closest to long tail boat shore.

Restaurant Tip : Dine and Wine, 5 min walk the other side of the beac has more choises...

clean and efficient, nice rooms

Be careful of extras , like internet , these can be expensive

Well those who have visited Thailand before know that while it may be the land of smiles, it is not necessarily the land of organised efficiency. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, it feels clean and lavish well organised, the decor is classy without being over the top, the staff make you feel welcome without intruding, and the hotel layout is relieved by open planned areas giving a feeling of space and light, an air of grandeur and style, its provides the customer an opportunity for a night in just to enjoy all the facilities that the hotel has to offer, rather than competing with the often crazy congested streets of Pattayya. I would definitely recommend a stay. A word of warning using the internet in your room can be very expensive, but what the hell you are on holiday.

check in service was good and the hotel had given a surprise birthday cake, very good service indeed. The hotel is filled with tropical and hassle-free environment which is perfect to spend a morning swimming or enjoying other facilities at the hotel.

the hotel seems to upsell us for the transportation which indeed could be obtained for half price if we call the local agent by ourselves. Since the hotel complex is very big which we are a bit worried about security inside the hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : pattaya has got no taxi, but a kind of tuk tuk service which can carry several passengers. It's a bit dangerous especially when it comes to the water splashing days that you will get all wet.

great service, lovely rooms, friendly staff, good choice for breakfast, plenty of things to do.

A smell of sewerage as you left the main building and walked towards the swimming pool - but was not present at the swimming pool.

I was diving in Pattaya and this hotel was convenient and came recommended. That aside I would use this hotel again as I felt very comfortable here. In the hotel there was plenty to do through the day, such as tennis, gym, spa, coffee shop and restaurant. The hotel also had a desk where you could book up tours.

They were able to put a dozen beautiful roses on the bed and a honeymooners cake. The Staff was so professional and a pleasure to talk to. The pool was amazing and the location was great for us to experience the bar and club scene and at the same time a romantic getaway. I would recomend the the Tropical Deluxe HANDS DOWN.

The food service by the pool was slow. It took about 10 minutes for my drink and about 15 to 20 minutes for my food.

This Hotel was truely the most amazing hotel that I have ever stayed at. The location, food, staff, rooms, and pool were by far the best hands down. I would say that it is both couples friendly as well as family friendly. They have a sliding board and shallow end for the children. The pool on the beach side has an amazing view of the ocean and at night there is music and food. Hopefully this will help you in choosing a hotel in Pattaya Beach, Thailand.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Buddha is about a 10 minute taxi ride and is amazing. You can buy 4 small birds to let go for good luck for about 100 to 200 bat.

Good food, room, facilities. The breakfast time is 6AM to 11AM.

No free internet, no coffer in room. Too many mosquito.

If want to have a relax vacation, the hotel will be the one. Good location where is quiet, and near the center area of south pattaya. Or to stay in the hotel for enjoying the swimming pool, tennis, gym. I like the breakfast and the restaurant, which eating all sorts of food, and watching beautiful sea view, it is a very good start for one day.
