Nice, modern and clean. A lot of "green"
The choice int eh dining room was not brilliant.
A very nice friendly and well placed hotel. Lot of green in the grounds and nice modern room with fittings to a high standard. Superb for a weekend in Pattaya. Apart from the limited menu nm the dining room I can’t think of a single thing that I did not think was first class. Treat yourself and go there for a long weekend. You will love it.

Location if you want to go on boat trips or scuba dive trips. just 2 minute walk to the pier.
Quite quiet considering proximity to Walkking Street
If you prefer a quieter place and a nice beach there are better options in Jomtien or North Pattaya.
I chose this hotel becuase I needed to be close to Pattaya pier to do my ocean dives for my PADI open water diver qualification. The location is perfect for this as it is just a couple of minutes walk to the pier. It is very close to Walking Street but actually the hotel, pool area etc are quiet and relaxing. Good size rooms. Two good pools. Nice garden type setting.

I loved everything except that the hotels private beach is not very pleasant and definately not for swimming.
The food was always excellent, very high quality, always fresh and excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly and courtious and are always willing to help. Dry cleaning service is very good and reasonably priced. Hotel is close to the Walking Street and Bali Hai Pier. The Hotels private beach is dirty with a lot of rubbish on the sand, but it is like this all along the Pattaya Beach, it appears that people are living under a dis used boat on the hotels beach. Overall, a very very pleasant experience and I will visit this hotel again..

the hotel has a very nice park, wonderful pools and very good breakfast buffet
don't go through the walking street in the evening if you value your sanity.
the hotel is very nicely situated in south Pattaya, inside a wonderful garden. We had the first night a ground floor room with view out to a wonderful garden spot with water fall and orchids. However, the next afternoon the hotel undertook some repairs and it was a bit of hammering and noise. We asked for a more quiet room, and was upgraded to the main building to a much better room; higher standard and more space - and without paying anything extra. The breakfast buffet was excellent; better than many a five star hotel. The staff were enthusiastic and very friendly, and we felt extremely welcome. I would not hesitate to stay int he same hotel.

location...............resort style layout
rooms quite old looking.....dont order breakfast unless it is included with your room. At 750 bath its way too expensive
I have stayed here on an number of occasions mainly for the location and resort style atmosphere. The place despite some money being spent on it in recent years is quite old and dated. The pool area is decent enough , room service is prompt and the food is reasonably good . Staff/service are up to standard for this type of hotel although not by any means outstanding.
Nightlife Tip : Visit Blues Factory and Goodfellas on walking street

Close to pier, close to walking street, clean, connecting rooms.
Sulfur smell in bathroom, but not too strong.
A great weekend stay. We went diving and were able to walk to the pier to catch our boat. The best part was we were able to extend our room to 6 pm and get a shower before heading out, upon our return from diving. The buffet on the beach front restaurant was great and had fabulous BBQ of pick your seafood and kabobs. Really enjoyed being so close to the pier.
Restaurant Tip : Oriental Star boat restaurant, great for kids and good food.

* Tv programmes poor
* distance to walk from one area to another and lack of signs.
As mentioned the siam bayshore staff from reception to the cleaning ladies down to the pool attendants were fantastic and i never saw one unhappy staff member, everyone was so polite and always had a smile.
I had a young family member come to visit me and use the pool, all of a sudden there was a spare towel in my bathroom for him to shower. I found this very caring and pro-active by the staff.
All in all a lovely resort and a pleasure for my family to return in the near future.

5 star quality. Excellent service
Restaurant prices are expensive in comparison to what is available in pattaya.
We had an excellent time. The hotel is of 5 star quality and is great value for money. Rooms were very comfortable, overall decor of the hotel was very nice. Service was excellent, staff was consistently helpful and very prompt in delivery. The hotel was also very conveniently located, at the end of the walking street. Definitely highly recommended.

Lovely pools, great Buffet Breakfast, quiet but close to the action if you want to be amongst it
Siam Bayshore Resort hotel is in a great location at the end of Walking Street, so you can still be amongst all the nightlife, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful stay. Food is very good, spa is really relaxing, staff friendly, rooms are spacious and well appointed and pool areas very pleasant too.

Hotel very luxurious at moderate price, at end of Walking Street so very convenient to nightlife
Absolutely wonderful hotel if you plan to enjoy Walking Street. Also very convenient to Second Road, so you can walk to just about anything you want. Within walking distance of Central Festival, Soi 6-7-8, etc. Hotel is very romantic stayed with gf and she loves it.
Hotel Feature Tip : Take photos by lobby display case honoring 60th anniversary of Thai King; museum quality.

Room decor, service, staff and location
I go regularly to Pattaya for business and will stay nowhere else but the Siam Bayshore Resort.
Ive been there about 6 times this year and due to go again in two weeks.
Why do I keep on going back ?
This hotel is perfectly located, at quiet end of Walking street where you are either 5 minutes from all the action or if you like far enough away to have a quiet evening at their seaside restaurant. Rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable with walk in showers ( so many hotels have bathtub type shower)
Staff are excellent and very attentive... I had mentioned that the treadbelt on their running machine in gym was slipping... next day fixed.. no lack of attention to detail here.
Poolside area is great and food and drinks are excellent and well priced.. try the non alcoholic " banana gold" drink in the morning..
On checking out, I left my mobile phone in the room... they had checked the room and had my mobile back in my hand before I had been 5 minutes at reception.
I can best summarize it that this hotel treats you like a guest rather than just a customer.
I just wish all the other hotels I stay at in Asia would do it as well as Siam Bayshore Resort.
I whole heartedly and without any self interest endorse this hotel. Great for families and business travellers alike.
