I would recommend hotel for those who like not only to see around this area but also like nightlife. There are lots of beer bars around this area. Room is also clean, breakfast is nice. Good value for the money.
Only one problem, it takes about 10 min walk to go to beach.
Very good location.
None.

This hotel is in good condition with helpful staff. It is a bit far away from the beach but not too far. Breakfast and cleaning is good but the water in the shower was without pressure. Good value for the money. I like too stay where can see people. The pool was clean. Can recommend this hotel.
Good location, helpful personal, good breakfast.
Water in shower are only "dropping". Loud aircon.
Just ok

The hotel is about 20-minute away from the bus station by driving. It is 15-minute walk from the beach. The room is barely clean and the bathing facility is poor. The night bars outside the hotel are very noisy, too. The night market is in the neighbourhood and it is a good past time after a whole day on the beach.

This is a low end hotel and by no means a 3 star hotel, as advertised, it's more like a 1 star on American standards. The hotel is old and everything is out dated, furnishings, and rooms in general. However, to my surprise the air conditioning worked.
This hotel my be central in Pattaya for good time girls, but for the beach and shopping area it is 3 blocks away.
The rooms are average in size and the breakfast was included. Nice swimming pool
Far from beach 3 blocks. Front of hotel entrance was part concrete and the rest gravel, which made it an ugly entrance. The rooms where not furnished to well.
- Nightlife Tip : lots of small bars for entertainment if you like bar girls. Some good food at reasonable prices in this area around the bars.
Be careful with the bar girls as they are aggressive and want you to buy them drinks as soon as they pull you in off the street. They get a small commission on each drink you buy them. Its better to just give them a tip instead of buying them a drink.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Siam and as happy with it (for a budget acomm)as I was last time. The front counter staff were very friendly and always wore a smile, the breakfast has been improved from last year and one of my fovourite bars is right across the road, so there is no problem getting home. The only real problem we had was there were a lot of ants in the hotel this year but it is summer and you do need to have a little tolerance, we mentioned them to the cleaners who were very helpful and came and sprayed them, the only other little grumble I had was the cleaners didn't normaly get to our room till late afternoon, which is when I liked to go home for a little Siesta but that aside clean central accomodation at a reasonable price.
Walking distance to anywere, friendly staff, clean.
Had a small problem with ants this trip
- Restaurant Tip : Great Restaurants all around can recommend the Butchers arms for good meals (esp all day english breakfast) and the Big Horn for the best steak I had in Pattaya and of course the Rich Bar for the friendly staff and cold Hieniken
Not very good

Its very cheap but was the worst hotel we used and the original room was terrible. Fortunately the air-conditioner packed up so we were upgraded.
Not far from the beach or shopping.
Very poor rooms.
- Travel tip : The taxi service in the lobby works well.
The place to be!

The Hotel is situated in the Soi Bukhao district of Pattaya, just north of second road and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It is a great area to stay, many bars, markets all within easy walking distance. It is near enough to the action, but you are not disturbed by outside noise throughout the night. The 'walking street' area is walkable, but it is better to catch a samphong from second road for 10 baht.
Friendly staff, Good Location, Clean and Comfortable, nice pool area
The lifts took an eternity to arrive when called
Reasonable price for budget hotle

Great budget hotel. If you just want a place to sleep with limited budget. This is the right choice. The room is clean. Staffs are friendly. The pool is good. It is close to convenient store (7-11). The location is not far from Pattaya 2 Road, you can walk to enjoy nightlife near pattaya beach. And transportation is quite convenient. The pattaya truck taxi (Song Teaw) is available in front of the hotel.
However, with the rate around 25US$/night, this hotel is not that well furnished. Don't expect about gorgeous room as 4 or 5 star hotel. Towels are quite old.
Location, price, pool and transportation
you get what you pay, the room is not fine furnished. Towels are quite old.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can buy many package tours from front desk. The recommendations are Lan Island and Nongnuch Park. The package will include transportation and lunch. Very conveneint.

The 'service' here left me distressed and tense. I accidentally booked for the Saturday but arrived on the Friday. As it was my mistake I didn't mind when they said the booking couldn't be altered and decided to stay two days instead of one. When I tried to check out on the Sunday they wouldn't acknowledge my Agoda booking, were dismissive, cold and downright rude. I am not a confrontational person andfound it very distressing. It took hours to get get it sorted out. No apology. They also claimed I had used things from the mini-bar which I hadn't. The room was comfortable.
