The room is old and not impressive, also not clean enough.
Most of the guests are Indians and also some Russians.
For the same price you can find a much nicer place.

everything was great, from the room is large with a small sitting area seperate from the bedding. it is a bit old i mean the room but not at the lobby. still using the old key system. the location is located for a walking distance to the walking street (through some soi) so it is not far to the beach area. there are plenty of parkings good for travelers who drive to pattaya. the only thing i am unhappy is the shower as the water not that warm.

Needs to be remodelled

Sorry to say, I was expecting a little more out of this Hotel (after reading some of the reviews). It looks okay from the outside, but the rooms are antiquated and falling apart.
Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, tiles falling off the walls in bathroom (reattached with silicone caulking), insects in bathroom and bedroom.
bathroom was small, and tub/shower fixtures had been pieced together.
Doors to the rooms are large heavy metal (which the other visitors loved to slam). There is no hard wired internet connection in the rooms (you have to pay for internet usage), there was no room safe (as was advertised).
Pool decking is the slippery type, and both pool ladders had missing rungs.
It is time for a complete remodel (or demolition), which might get rid of the smell of the sewer out front (but I doubt it).

The location in close to the walking street in Pattaya

the hotel mainly caters to indian guests for majority of the guest seen there were indians and their food preference was catered to their needs.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel is pretty near Walking Street and the full impact of the Night Life. The hotel is not TG friendly.

the erawan hotel pattays is a great place to stay if you hav to enjoy the nitelife of pattaya, the hotel is having a great view of the beach and walking street.
the romms are having huge glass windows, which allows you to enjoy the view from your bed itself.
the service of the hotel is also good, and the prices of the mini bar is also not very high.
overall its a good package and value for money.

I wouldnt stay again. Expensive hotel and poor service. The staff is not helpful. In my checking day I had to wait more than an hour.

Another lovely hotel 5 minutes from walking street

Erawan hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from walking street. The hotels front is actually the street entrance to the restraunt that closes.
Nightlife Tip:
Get to become a usual at a small bar on walking street. The staff will be a lot friendlier, and accommodating.

has a nice swimming pool and tennis court as well
