Perfect location for night life and beach.
Friendly staff. The Hotel nearby under construction.
Pool area should be upgraded. Perfect location for night life, beach and shopping. Hotel was in general very clean, but start to look old and "tired".
Reception area, carpets in the corridors and the swimming pool are is in need of upgrading.
Very friendly staff, not all very good English speaking, but all in all , good.
Very good breakfast, however the the breakfast time could have been extended until 11:00 hrs am.

Good location, good breakfast. Next to hotel have a renovation, a bit noisy. The location of the hotel are very good, its a 100m from the beach and 50m from second ave. where you can find restaurant and some mall. The hotel decoration is nice, look old but inside its new, staff are kind and help a lot, also have parking outside.

nice but build is a bit old, the room are new, and staff ok at night there is a noish from the bar outside it was my second time to be in pattaya, the hotel is close by the beach, and close to the resturant and bars, if u looking for that then this is the place, the hotel a bit old, but room are ok, breakfest was ok, but not so many option, in general i will stay again if i get same price

its located between the 2 strip of Pattaya, the beach rd and second ave, so its give you easy acsess to all the resturant.
The hotel looks abit old out side (but all hotels there like that) but the rooms are new and nice decoration, staff are nice and the breackfest was good.
we stay when there was renovation just the next build , so when you seat at the pool it was a bit noisy the hotel was good, the rooms are new, staff are kind and helps a lot. if you come with a car there is a parking lot outside, and the breakfest was nice with many kind of food.
the best was the location , just between the 2 main rd and clos to the beach, pool was nice too
so for the value of money we think we will come back.

Luxurious hotel with all modern amenities. good hotel with all modern amenities at decent location . However beach is a bit far.
Restaurant Tip : very good breakfast with lot many varieties of dishes can go for brunch.

Very good Service, Nic neat, Clean and very well maintained rooms. Very quite, No disturbance. Location is really great ..... every place is at a walking distance ....... Mike Shopping Mall, Massage parlours, Dive Centre, Beach, Walking street. At times one gets lost when coming from the beach, if some more visible sign boards are placed that would be good. Overall Sun Beam is a very nice hotel to stay at, though comparitively a bit expensive than the others but ideally located in centre of the pattaya beach, so you enjoy easy access to all places except Jomtein. For going Jomtein etc there are lots of Pickup trucks which can take you there for a nominal price. there are lots of Bike rental shops just in the hotel street. The rooms are very nice, cosy clean and well maintained. There was no disturbance at all. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel but not very clean so i preferred to eat in the hotel, though the hotel restaurant was very quite. for nightlife, you can walk upto \"the Walking Street\" which is around 10 - 15 Minutes walk from the hotel. Mike shopping amll is near by ...remember to quote 25% of the price asked by the shop. A vendor quoted me THB 360 for a T shirt and gave it for THB 150. Lots of water sports nearby ...just walk to the beach and you will find people carrying menu cards sort books ...showing Jet Ski, Para Sails etc. The only downside about the hotel is they charge THB 600 per person per instance for bringing in a guest in the room. Overall its recommended.
Shopping Tip : Mike Shopping Mall is nearby to the left of the hotel.

Excellent location.Very Nice staff- excellent Room service- Variety of tasty breakfast.good wifi .nice view.clean and spacious rooms. This will be my first choice hotel in the future.

The customer service at the Sunbeam was as good as any I have ever experienced in 50 years of travel around the world.. Frome Front Desk to Maid service, it was outstanding and I will always return there when in Thailand.. Close to shopping, entertainment and restaurants..4A Hotel. Use the word picture in the \"Cons\" section. Outstanding Hotel.....

Gym, sauna, swimming pool, perfect location are near the beach...and in-house massage parlour Spaya.. Breakfast served till 10.00 am. only. After partying the whole night, it seems impossible to wake up that early... One of the best hotels I have stayed. It gives value for money with so many facilities like gym, sauna, swimming pool. All of them are free...Location is perfect to visit beach nearby and open bars in evening are for chill out...Also have in house massage parlour Spaya to get the special Thai massage..I could not ask for more on the first trip...sure to recommend others to stay at Sunbeam.
Nightlife Tip : Have open bars close to the hotel for chill out in the evening till late at night.

Swimming pool, sauna, perfect location near open bars, near the beach road...and, above all, in-house massage parlour... Have to wake up before 10.00 am to have the breakfast....After whole night partying seems nearly impossible.... Well, my first trip to Pattaya, and cannot ask for better hotel with perfect location...Close to open bars to chill out in evenings, within walking distance to beach road for sunbathing and water sports in the morning, and in-house massage parlour was perfect with amazing range of massage to get you 5 year younger!!! The best features like in-house laundry, swimming pool and sauna, gym to warm-up your day...I think my first trip to Pattaya at Sunbeam was worth remembering...Would be booking the same hotel on my next visit also...And if anyone looks for other small trips around Pattaya or Cambodia...JK travels just outside the hotel. It gives the best deal...Do ask for some discounts !!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The beach road is within a walking distance. The most bustling place in Pattaya..24 hours and 7 days a week....open bars outside the hotel for chill out evening activities..

Thai food was good and cheap. Staff was excellent. Not a great street for families. Really liked the room with spacious bathroom and separate shower/tub. Short walk to beach and beer bars just outside the hotel. Pool bar was nice and the food was good. Centrally located hotel.
