Hotel is situated in the middle of night life. Too noisy at the evening, bad air-conditioner. We have stayed in this hotel 3 days. It's situated between Central road and South road and near the Beach road.
There are many bars and shows near hotel, but it makes accommodation in this hotel uncomfortable cause it too noisy till 1 hour a.m.
Walking street is in 10 minutes from Sunshine hotel.
The air-conditioner was very noisy.

- in the heart of the action - very ordinary in room facilities
- ordinary staff In the middle of soi8 so in the heart of thousands of beer bars, restaurants, go-go joints etc that never close. We were in room 206 and despite other comments from other reviewers the noise never bothered us. However, the room whilst clean was ordinary, no jug, no hair dryer, no adapter,no safe (safe deposit at front desk), no coffee/tea etc (but those things in Thailand are not unusual so that did not bother us). There is only a toilet and shower in the bathroom, no bath (this irritated my wife) breakfast was quite ok, a bit better than you get at most Thai hotels. Internet cafe adjacent, cheap and good. Staff whilst professional did not inspire, looked glum
Nightlife Tip : you are in the heart of it, no need to go anywhere else

Very well located, clean and efficient. A little noisy at night, A/C tempramental Christams 2009 at the Sunshine was a very pleasant experiance. I had booked a double bed but when I arrived one was not available, so a room was made up with two single beds connected, not ideal but worked just fine.
Checkin and counter staff were excelent, with good english, especialy good was confiriming all was OK when an overnight guest left in the morining.
The pool was clean and pleasant with towels provided so no need to take from the room.
The only real negative was noise from Soi8 as I was only on the 2nd floor of the Residence block, I would expect it would be better higher up. Also the A/C in the room had two settings on or off, it was not possile to set a temperature
Travel tip : The exchange rates at the booth directly outside were some of the poorest in Pattaya, you can find much better rates along 2nd road.

Centrally located for Soi 7 & 8,shopping and the beach and near the local tuk tuk taxis for trips to all areas of Pattaya.
The rooms are well equipped (tea making facilities, multi channelled TV, reasonable wardrobe space, modern combination safe),also comfortable, tidy laid out rooms with tiled floors,the bedsheets and towels are changed daily.
The reception staff were helpful and cheerful. A little noisy late at night if on the lower floors (so try for floors 8 or above).
Only two small swimming pools and not enough sun loungers.
The breakfast needed a little more variety from day to day.

good location. A lot of bars and restaurants around it. The location is good, close to the beach. Walking street is a beyond the walking distance. The room and service is good , considering the price. I recommend it if you like night life in Pattaya.

Easy Access , Hot Spot of Pattaya , Good breakfast included for BB basis. Too many Bars , Little noisy if you are staying in the old Wing , There is not much good restaurants close to the hotels. Soi 8 is Full of Bars , 10 or 20 THB distance to Main Walking street on the cab/pick up operated by private operators.
you can book the taxi from outside, and never book taxis from hotel as they charge some extra.
If you are taking a taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya its 1500THB, but if you are hiring a taxi from Pattaya to Bangkok it only 800THB. but make sure you tell the exact location. other wise they might charge more.
Hotel Feature Tip : Always ask for a room in New wing. old wing is not that good.

The hotel was located right on Soi 8. If you like to party and have a good time, this is the hotel to stay at. Within walking distance from the beach and some of the best bars. The hotel lacked housekeeping. I had to ask to restock my toilet paper. Also does not come with simple things like toothbrush and soaps. When I first arrived at the hotel, my room was upgraded for free to a deluxe room based on over booking. This was great, and the room was very big. I really liked the location of the hotel, it was perfect for my vacation. I was withing walking distance to everything I wanted to do in Pattaya. I would stay at this hotel again, and will in the future. Some people think the hotel is to close to the bars and you will not get any sleep but.... most of the time you will be at the bars, and if not, don't worry the hotel is very very quiet.
Nightlife Tip : Soi Six is right down the block. Have fun!

Liked the price and the standard of the superior room in the residence wing. Coffee making facility in room a plus. I didn't find the previously reported noise of the street outside any real problem. Safe in room also a bonus. Nice big bed but typically Thai in its firmness. Could do with net curtains on the windows. The rooms are all looking into each other and the only way to privacy during the day is to have the curtains closed. Makes the room gloomy. A well place hotel if you like Pattaya night time action. Service at reception good and friendly. Go for the extra space of the superior room if you can afford it - the space is worth it if you are there for a while. The residence block also has a balcony for each room which is a bonus. There is a good internet shop down stairs which also does overseas calls cheap. Some very good restaurants in short walking distance. The breakfast in the hotel was a pretty dismal affair. Best to spend a few baht and have a nice breakfast elsewhere. Overall a pleasant experience if you like to be in the heart of the action of Soi 7 and 8. Perhaps not for the gentile traveler who doesn't like noise and certainly not a recommended location for families due to the environment outside.
Restaurant Tip : For good dining nearby, walk straight out of the hotel and walk to the junction of soi 8. Great restaurant of the left. Food, price and friendly staff.

Rooms are large. Location is good near to the beach. window cannot be open and no door bell.
The hotel has excellent location ...right in the centre of Pattaya's nightlife and few mins walk to shopping centre . Few mins to 'walking street' by taxi which are happening place at nightlife. The hotel also near to the beach on foot. Breakfast served is good and mainly tasty local spreads. Staff are friendly & service prompt with very good communication in English. Room are huge with big living hall. It a bit noisy out there but i love stay here. Overall, very satisfied and would very likely consider to stay there when I go back to Pattaya.
Nightlife Tip : bars are along the road!!!

Reception room service and cleaning staff first class room good size breakfast adequate. One burn in carpet but who's looking. Bar a bit pricey. Great stay in a friendly well run hotel. From start to finish reception staff could not have done more for me, the chambermaid kept the room spotless and I never see her without a smile on her face no matter what timeIi freed the room. Located amongst the bars of sois 7 and 8 there is no real need to go to walking street. I hit the local nightlife hard for three weeks and hardly scratched the surface. I will stay here again and soon.
Shopping Tip : Barter hard and you should half the original price.

nice staff, very helpfull this hotel is quite ok, nice staff, good location and the breakfast is also good. The swimmimg pool area can be improved. The hotel is close to the entertainmnet and shopping area but not noisy at all. You have all commodities close to you. The internet shop is ver friendly and the restaurant is ok.
