Professional friendly staff, hotel centrally located. Rooms are not very soundproof and guests returning late and talking in the corridors can be very loud. This was my first stay at the Sunshine Hotel and it was very pleasant. When booking I requested a quiet room and I was given a room at the back of the hotel, away from the noisy Soi 8. The room was spacious with air con, bar fridge and satelite tv and had a large, clean bathroom. Breakfast was adequate and tasty (when I could wake up early enough to enjoy it). Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The location was central with sufficient nightlife in the area to make visits to Walking Street unneccessary. Great value for money and I will stay here again on future visits.

If you are a single traveller, this will be the place for you. Soi 8 is packed with bars and also a 10 baht ride away from Walking street If you are a person who likes to sleep early, this may not be a good place for you as music from the bars won't stop till around 2am I'm a Pattaya monger and I average 4 - 5 shot trips a year. Beach Road So1 8 is my favourite location for my accomodation and this is my 2nd stay with this hotel. Im my opinion, this hotel gives best value for money and the staffs are friendly and even with my short stay, they are able to remember my room number and pass me the correct key without me needing to mention my room number. Soi 8 is also great and stock tons of beer bars but a little mild compared to Soi 6. If that is your taste, Soi 6 is just 10 baht pickup ride away.

amongst the nightlife no free internet
only 1 lift seems abit slow stayed in the standard residence room overlooking the all day cafe nice spacious room good amenities TV,Radio,Kettle,Safe found the hotel to be very clean,good buffet breakfast, your right in the middle of soi 8 so not really suitable for a young family,less than 200 metre walk to beach or 2nd rd shops or just hop onto a baht bus to walking st, for the money cant really fault this hotel and will definately stay here again on my next visit
Shopping Tip : try the market Made In Thailand but dont forget to barter

Very clean great service from staff breakfast as ok too. in a load area of pattaya on soi 8 so there is lots of noise. in a load area of central pattaya lots of noise from cars bikes and people. its right in the heart of pattaya. has everything you need and the staff are very nice be sure to greet them with a smile.
Nightlife Tip : bars everywhere you look and transport just down stairs.

What I liked the most about the hotel is:
1.Prefect breakfast buffet with variety of healthy food and fresh drinks
2.Nice swimming pool.
3.If you are a nightlife fan you are in the right hotel, as it is surrounded by clubs and bars.
4.Beach, restaurants and the festive mall are just minutes walking.
5.Not very far from the walking street ( 15 minutes walking or 2 minutes driving)
6.No joiner fees
Did not experience any negative points. I've been to so many hotel around the world most were 4 star hotel and every time they were lacking something but this hotel I consider one of the best 4 star hotel in pattaya. The staff are cooperative , security is around the clock and most important you have ATM, supermarket and money exchange in front of the hotel gate.
Nightlife Tip : stay away from girls on the beach road

Near Central shopping centre. Many bars if you like Hotel is old. Room is small. Nosiy in the evening until 3am. The location of hotel is near the centre of Pattaya but not close to walking street. The facility is old and very basic. As it close to many bars. You would expect loud music the whole night. If you want a release holiday better make other choice. If you are fans of night life it could be considered. Breakfast is also not impressive. Internet is by wireless but you need to buy pay card to get access. I stay 2 nights and move to another hotel in Soi 5 which in much better at the same price.

central location, doorman excellent, cleaning excellent. reception staff not very accommodating, leaking roof in room, no safe in room, reception area too small for size of hotel, long waits to check in and out, no wifi in room. i booked through Agoda as usual..it was very last minute but none the less agoda came thru and everything was correct on arrival. Problems started when it rained and my roof in the room leaked, with water running down thru the lights....very very dangerous...but was told bad luck by reception...the next problem was when i wanted to extend my stay they would not give me my agoda price and wanted more per night added to which after accepting the rate the next day they claimed i had to pay extra again for my guests breakfast....this seems to be a normal con of the hotel. I immediately checked out and moved anther hotel which for the same price was ten times a better hotel.
Nightlife Tip : great location for party minded people.....soi 7,8 great fun...

I found this Hotel was in a great position...SIO 8. Walking distance to walking street if you want I did or you can take taxi. Don't pay them anymore than 10baht....very nice. Yeah it was a little old compared to what I have stay in the past but for the price you can't go wrong. I got upgraded. Large clean room with large bed , also a large balcony. Also a decent buffet breakfast. Swimming pools a little on the small size but this is due to the lack of space Location is very good for travelling in all directions. Just step outside and you have many bars if you fancy a drink. Some dearer than others, but "UP TO YOU" I enjoyed sleeping in my room, also not to much noise. I stayed in one of the larger rooms which are slightly more expensive but worth it. It is the 3rd time that I have stayed there
Nightlife Tip : You do not need to walk very far for some FUN.

Very close to action, ok breakfast, friendly staff, clean room Stayed in the "New Wing" in a deluxe seaview room. It really isn't deluxe but it is good value for money. The hotel is about 200 metres from beach road-to get there you have to pass a number of beer bars- almost never made it to the beach. The breakfast is just ok-nothing to brag about. The pool is ok as well. Room was clean & everything functioned ok. I stay on the 11th floor & it seemed to take forever waiting for the lift sometimes. If your a single man & Pattaya to enjoy the local fruits-then this hotel is ideal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to Soi 6 during daylight hours
