clean, friendly, secure and great location... and CLEAN we could use more towels for showers! This was my 3rd time at Sunshine in Pattaya. I would never consider another hotel. I always book residence wing for larger rooms and balcony. I love the location, Soi 8 & 7 are really fun and the beach is so close. Great value!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take public ferry out to Larn Island, it cost 20 baht and is really beautiful. Great day trip!

clean, friendly, secure and great location... and clean! this was my 3rd stay at Sunshine in Pattaya. I would never consider another hotel. The nighttime is very lively around Soi 7 & 8. so this hotel is in a great location in the middle of nightlife and very close to the beach. I always book the residence wing for the larger rooms and balcony. The All Day Cafe is very handy for a quick bite.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the public ferry out to Larn Island. It cost 20 baht and is a great day trip!

can be noisy in rooms close to soi 8 great hotel, cheap, clean and good staff. Hotel rooms are small but clean and cheap. Residence rooms are better and still cheap, especially online.
In the middle of things: beach is 150m. Central Festival is even closer, for shopping, movies and food court. This hotel is good for the single male and budget travelers. Breakfast is good and thrown into a cheap package online.
Shopping Tip : there is a lane going to soi 9 and Central Festival side entrance, between Beer Bars

I have stayed at the Sunshine hotel on Soi 8 many times. This is, however, the first time i stayed in the residences. I recommend this and will stay there again. The quality of the accommodations coupled with the inroom safe is worth it. The location of this hotel on SOi 8 is fantastic. The proximity to great restaurants and go go s is perfect. I always stay there. The morning breakfasts are always changing and of high quality.

The hotel is in soi 8, close to everything, the beach, shopping malls, bars & resturants. The hotel room is ok, nice sice with a balkony, we lived at the residence side. But the smell in the room.. oh my god.. the smell!!! It smell like they had the world championship in smoking in every room!! No matter what we did to get rid of the smell it didn't work. We had two different room, & I've stayed this hotel once before, same smell then too. So I guess every room smell the same. It's a shame, because the hotel is nice, but I will never ever stay here again because of the smell. Words can not explaine how bad the smell is!!

Wifi not good in many rooms Hotel is cheap, friendly staff, clean rooms (small in hotel, big in residence. Wifi OK on hotel rooms but not so good in residence rooms.
In Soi 8 (a nightlife hot-spot). Central Festival (new shopping complex) just around the corner, for European and Asian food, cinemas and quality shopping. Beach 100 metres
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cut through beer bars lane way to go to Central. Quality euro food court there

The hotel is close to everything, I like that. The size of the room is ok too, but the smell, oh my god the smell! It stinks! Can hardly stay in room because of the smell, it smells like it have been the world champions ship in smoking in every room! We bought a spray to help us remove the smell, but it did not work. I will never stay in this hotel again. This is the second time I stay here, we had 2 rooms, both smell very very bad. First time I stayed here it did smell bad as well. Shame, because the hotel is ok otherwise.

No Cheese at breakfast buffet I extended one day on-line with Agoda because the price on Agoda was 1/2 of the price paid directly to the hotel. I had a late flight so paid an extra day to be able to stay in the room until 2100 hours. The staff was friendly and let me stay in the room I was already occupying. Overall, as before, the hotel was good for the price.

efficient check-in and check out. location I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions. As usual check-in was efficient and courteous.
Rooms in the residence wing are slightly larger than the hotel wing, and always clean and tidy. A buffet breakfast was included whilst not lavish it was sufficient. Will be back

Staff was excellent again. Housekeeping was better this time, calling each day to see if I wanted the room made up or not. Location is excellent as always and the food was great at breakfast. Room service is fast and, as always, no guest fee. Overall, a great stay at an affordable price.
Shopping Tip : Check out Big C on 2nd Road.

Staff - extremely friendly and helpful
Breakfast - good variety and buffet kept refilled We travel to Pattaya every year on a golf trip. Decided to try a new hotel this year. Booked Sunshine hotel residence wing through Agoda on a very good deal. Booked residence wing which was slightly more expensive based on advice.
Staff were the best of any hotel I have stayed at in Pattaya. Very helpful and friendly from concierge, to reception and housekeepers. Room was adequate, well air conditioned with individual controls that work and quiet all of which area a huge bonus in Pattaya in the middle of summer. The only down side was that there was no view form my balcony as it faced inwards on the hotel but this probably contributed to the quietness of the room. Overall a very good stay and we will probably return next year.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We were there to play golf which is run out of several pubs in the area including transfers and green fees and prizes each day. We found the best to be Fergus at the Travellers Rest in LK Metro off Soi Dianna. Next was Peter at the Golden Ferret at the beach end of Soi 7
