good time hotel
in heart of soi 8 for action,and far away to be quiet

this hotel is in excellent position ,for soi 8 and surrounding,area,it is only a few minutes walk to beach,i cant fault anything,as it comes top of my list of hotels,i will defiantly book this hotel.booking with agoda,to other sites saved me 500 baht a day.the staff are fun and very friendly,
Nightlife Tip:
in very good position for all fun in and around soi 8,no extra fee for friends and OK for friends to return,it is clean and very friendly staff

Great location.
Location convenient for beach,shopping,eating and transport.I found all the staff really friendly and polite.....also the girls at reception are very easy on the eye !

I would not hesitate to stay here again as I really enjoyed the 10 days I stayed there in May 2010.(I booked for 7 but stayed for 10).Very polite cleaning staff,room service and reception.It's a pity about the construction of a new 8 story wing now being built.I would make sure to ask for a room on the quiet side of the original wing.
Nightlife Tip:
10 baht taxi from beach road takes you to Walking Street.Just before that there's Pattaya Beer Garden on the ocean side,nice place to watch the sunset and eat decent food at a reasonable price.

Very good for Soi 8!
Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff who speak good english. Rooms cleaned daily.

Soi 8 is a very noisy place at night time, and yet even though Sunshine and Residences is right in the middle of it you wouldn't know once you are in the room with the doors shut! I have stayed at the Sunbeams down the road and friends have stayed at the Eastiny hotel and Areca Lodge in Pattaya and they all agree that Sunshine was the best yet.

Fantastic Hotel great location
Great location,excellent room with balcony,good enough sized swimming pool,very very friendly staff,great breakfast as well!!

Stayed at the residence wing of the hotel after a friend recommended this to me and he didnt let me down,spent two weeks at the sunshine and residence hotel and loved every minute of it,great location near the top of Soi 8,and central for all other areas,including walking street,very friendly staff,room was spotless and cleaned every day, fresh bedding every day including two free bottles of water daily,good sized swimming pool,and a great breakfast each morning,for a budget priced hotel you cant go wrong here.I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definetely book here again next time i come to Pattaya.....ps girl friendly as well.
Restaurant Tip:
The All day cafe within the hotel complex does excellent snacks and meals at good prices and try the food from the many street vendors its safe to eat as they are all licensed to sell food and it tastes great lots of variety!!!

I am not sure how many times I have stay at Sunshine, but, I always come back! I like the residence wing with the larger rooms and balcony. It is a great value especially off season. The safes in the room are handy. Soi 7 & 8 have plenty of nightlife. The beach is about 3 minutes away if you don't stop to talk to people on Soi 8 like I always do. There are plenty of minimarts close buy and some good places to eat. The All Day Cafe at Sunshine is also handy and good! The cleaning staff on the residence wing is awesome, nice women, friendly and undersstanding if you don't exit the room till later in the day.
Hotel Feature Tip:
tip the cleaning women, they are great and very nice!

Sunshine Hotel Pattaya

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel most welcome, apart from the lady in the coffee shop who didnt seem to want to serve me or smile. The hotel is right in the centre of the entertinment area of Soi 8 but I never heard any major noise at night. The room was clean and well equiped and the room was cleaned and sheets and towels were changed everyday. Breakfast was buffet style, the food was good and included in the price. Great value for money and I would definatly book this hotel again.
Nightlife Tip:
Be aware that the cost of drink varies from 35 baht for a beer to 120 baht, check the prices displayed before you order drinks.

My Stay at Sunshine Hotel
great location, good breakfast buffet.

My stay at Sunshine was good. This is my second time staying at this hotel. My room was clean and was neat. Had a problem with the air condition leaking, but they fixed the problem immediately. Only problem I had was they overcharged me for the some water in the room refrigerator. Overall a good experience at Sunshine Hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Everything is right outside your hotel at Sunshine Hotel. (go go bars)

Lot s of good things
Close to all the fun a single guy can want, Room was good food was good changed everyday,People where friendly, Pool was good there where 2 of them to choose from,

Sunshine is located on soi 8 and it is a very good place to stay and lots of bars to drink at, And the hotel are very happy people and they greet you with a smile all the time, Entertanment is out of this world, It is my second time staying at the sunshine and i will stat there again,
Shopping Tip:
Very close to the new shopping mall and it is very nice and you can get good deal from there

Location is good. 2 mins walk to the beach and Soi8 night life is just around the corner..

Location of the hotel is good.. Close to night life.. Just on the door step.. Close to the beach.. only 2 mins.. Great value for money.. Excellent buffet breakfast and available until 11pm.. Friendly staff.. However, room standards are not high.. Specialy hygine issues.. Other than that this is my second visit to Sunshine residents and enjoyed my stay..

I have stayed many times and the Sunshine hotel and usually everything is great but this time the bed was not up to scratch having two single beds pushed together. The staff are really good and helpful and for the price it is definately worth it. Soi 8 would have to be one of the best soi's to party on and with central festival shopping centre so close it makes it really good.
