the location of the hotel is really good. Soi 8 .. just out side the hotel ull find all the entertainment ara . bars , pubs and night life to the fullest . walking stret just 2 mins walk from the hotel .. the beach is as wlel 1 mion from the hotel and so are the malls and ,markets etc .... all types of food , fast food indian ., continental etcare available withi walking distance from the hotel .. over all the hotel was nic e. with frendly staff at the reception /.

narby all full night life , walkinbg streeet beach aetc all near by the hotel from 1 to 3 mins walking distances

convenient location to explore North, South and Central Pattaya.Efficient check-in, rooms are clean as always.Buffet breakfast whilst not lavish is sufficient for your needs, swimming pools are clean. If you want to sleep early do not use this hotel as the partying from soi 8 can be distrubing until the early hours. Good rates, good , efficient and friendly staff

Exellent hotel in middle of Pattaya.Close to beer bars and restaurants.Beach 400 meters away.Excellent breakfast and friendly reception etc.2 nice and clean pools.Only problem is since you are in central Pattaya you also get all the noice from beerbars etc but that is half the reason why you came to Pattaya anywya.

Overall I enjoyed the stay at Sunshine and would recomend it to other consideringa visit to Pattaya. Its not a family area but it is great for everyone else. The closeness to the new Central shopping mall with the soon to be completed Hilton is a plus, as well as the beach just steps away. The rooms are not huge or that modern but quite acceptable and the convenience makes up for any of that anyway. Bars in the area not overly noisy either. As a regular traveller would definitely recommend for the location alone.
Shopping Tip:
fantastic modern mall right next door, with cinemas as well as nice places for hair cut grooming as well as a great choice of restaurants all well priced. Nice to go somewhere civilized and to take any friends you make while there, away from the rr style bars. We are not all on backpacker budgets are we?

A very good place for an average tourist. The location is very convenient to all the travelers needs. Entertainment spots within 5 minutes. A brand new shopping complex, the Central Pattaya is just 7 minutes walk away. Beach activities are only 10 minutes walk away..

Perfect hotel,central location,friendly staff,breakfast was huge with both european and asian food.2 nice pools that meant you did not have to fight for the sunchiars.Only problem is since it is central Pattaya you also get the noice from the beerbars. But it is surely central to everything.

The sun wasnt shining at Sunshine
Proximity to the Beaches and Bars. Located very close to the Bus Station

I chose this hotel looking at the proximity it has towards the beach and the bars. But, I didnt have a very good experience when it comes to the hotel staff. They hardly gave a smile to their guest. The breakfast wasnt great. The towels were worn out and so were the blankets. Not a recommended hotel.

Good but with problems
Location was great, nice cross street to get over to Soi7 and Central Pattaya Road.

Check in with the Agoda Voucher was no problem and the Bellhops were very helpful on arrival. However, the bellhops were not so helpful on departure.
Breakfast (included in cost of hotel room) was good. No rush at breakfast just take your time and enjoy it, sip some coffee at the outside seating area and enjoy the morning weather.
Pool area nice with outside wet bar/coffe bar in the pool area.
The cleaning staff did not seem to be with the program and were awful about asking for tips. A couple of the bellhops recieved tips from me as they were very helpful and nice people. I give tips if the service warrents it but I refuse to give tips for poor service.
It appeared my room was the last to be cleaned each day. One day I put the tag on the door requesting the room be cleaned and 6 hours later the room had not been cleaned. I had to complain at the front desk to get the room cleaned and it still took them another hour before it was done.
I was there on holiday and having trouble getting the cleaning staff to do their job was not the best thing to have happen on a holiday. I was there to relax and have fun not get into a hassle with/about the cleaning staff.
Nightlife Tip:
Plenty of Beer Bars and some GoGo's around, all in all not a bad area of Pattaya to party.
