very friendly staff,lovely smiles greet you at breakfast each morning,good breakfast,clean rooms and bedding bed a bit hard for we tender westerners,internet very temperamental ,small things and not a problem visiting Pattaya for the first time was not without trepidation,many friends told us awful things about Pattaya,such as noisy rooms,but we found at the Sunshine Vista the receptionist gave us a choice of rooms but suggested we would be happiest on the side away from all the bars so we could sleep well as we were not there to party,we appreciated this thoughtfulness as most hotels just fill rooms and who cares.We just loved the genuine smiles from all the staff,even the security guy out front, exceptional courtesy,and this is our 5th trip to Thailand but first to Pattaya,we will be back!
Travel tip : catch the baht bus down to the new Central Festiva for a really great selection of food ,and soooo cheap and very clean surrounds

nice pool; close to the beach overall I was satisfied, taking in account the low price of the room. but if you want something nicer and have more money to spend, go somewhere else

All staff were courteous, well presented rooms, and good food Room smelt of cigarette smoke The hotel I found to be well presented, the staff were very efficient, the food was good and very good range of choices. The hotel is situated in a very good location, close to all amenities in the area and also well within walking distance to these amenities. I found the staff to be very acccomodating and efficient. The only complaint is that the room smelt of cigarette smoke, an air freshener could have been used I think.

charge for extra person..100bt per guest...each time they come to hotel Overall, i love the sunshine vista...it is clean, spacious, great location, and nice service. Food is excellent for breakfast. the only drawback is that each time you bring a guest to the hotel, you must pay 100bt. Even if you bring the same guest twice in one day, you must pay again. i wish they would reconsider this policy. Otherwise, i am a big fan of this hotel

cold welcoming - hotel without personality - staff is professional but rather flat and cold - this hotel is expensive for what it has to offer, the corridors look like an 80's hospital and the room has simple and boring decor, i wouldn't recommend it - on my first nite the bed lining were dirty and stained -- however i wouldn't recommend Pattaya at all,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : nothing/ nada/ zero ...spend your money somewhere else

most of the hotels on soi 3 are classy but this bottom run of the class u get on soi 3, stayed for 6 nights ...pool is small.

close proximity to beach,clean,good breakfast,good service bath room is small, microwave in the room would help I would recommend this hotel for the value, it is close to beach, all activities, feel safe and close to mall and super market.It has no beach view, the staff are friendly and I would stay again. This is my second visit to this hotel.It is not located in the main beach road, but the access is good.
Shopping Tip : use Big C for value shopping

Clean,Quite and close to beach and shopping with nightlife close by. no microwave in rooms,have to upgrade for the simple pleasure I have been booked my stay at the Sunshine Vista for the last few years and as always the staff was always friendly and helpful, I have been treated like an old friend when I arrive as for some of the staff have been there for years and is always a pleasure to see them,The place is quite in the evenings and alsways clean the food is good as well.
Shopping Tip : There are a few good places around there good for shopping on second road, Big C mall and Just up the road a night market on both sides of the street and behind the mall as well

Friendly staff, breakfast, location (not bad), room not fancy, but fine. Had the essential room safe that worked well, giving a feeling of security. TV on smallish side and remote didn't work well. Room temp hard to control and be comfortable--needed a comforter. Because now is the slow season, too many people want to sell you things; it's sometimes hard not to feel rude. The Sunshine Vista was about what I expected--pretty good room with pretty good breakfast, at a very reasonable cost. It's about a 3 star place all around; nothing is really bad, nothing really great. Overall, between a 6.5 and 7.0.
Nightlife Tip : If you want to bring a guest to your room, then sign up for 2 persons when you make your reservation (no extra charge). Then there is no extra cost per occasion.

great service ask for late checkouts. very clean, a great party like location. Maybe a bit loud at night from all the bars. We stayed 6 nights the staff were very nice, breakfast was nice, location perfect for me anyway. Pool on the roof is nice plus the gym is good too. it was perfect value. i will come back for sure.
Nightlife Tip : while in bars watch out you dont get ripped off.

very clean and good service but load due to surrounding bars. location it is far from the central part of pattaya about 10 mins walk. I would consider staying here again as it is cheap good service fee water however load due to close by pubs. far from the central part of the action but the hotel has everything you need.

The service was extremly friendly, the fascities outstanding for the price. the hotel is on a one way narrow lane on Soi 3. we hired scooters and made it hard to get to the main road.theres a cop who sits outside the hotel ready to catch you and hit you with a fine. From our window we could hear bands start playng from 7pm great for play style living.Overall very clean and I'll be back in Dec 09. I will be staying there, if you do book through Agoda you'll get it at a cheap price.
Nightlife Tip : girly bars just down stairs from the hotel. be sure to stop by for a drink.

location,close to everything
Staff very helpful A true relaxing vaction, staff was very helpful and not pushy, everyone truly seem to care. Location was great and in perfect walking distance to beach,shopping and dining. not too noisy like other places I've visited in the city.
Given the opportunity I would have no problem returning to Sunshine Vista Hotel for a stay. Truely enjoy myself and the good people of Pattaya.
