hotel staffs were polite and eager to help you to stay with the most comfort at the hotel. got some electric problem in my room but the mechanic worked really fast to get it back to normal. housekeeping reacted quickly when we asked for more blanket and towel. room was quite spacious with good matress, clean blanket and nice pillows for tight sleeping. a bit tired bathtub but water flew very well so this wasn't a big con for us. full mini bar with kettle, hair dryer, bathroom amenities, and CD player. big swimming pool with seperated jacuzzi pool located amid a garden. cozy garden cafe' and variety choices of breakfast (more then ABF) like asian boiled rice, fresh blended fruit juice, sushi with miso soup. beach was just across the small road. next to central festival and 7-11 so very convenient to go shopping and dining out. btw, traffic around the hotel was a bit con if you travelled with a car. P.S. some part of hotel lobby is under construction during 10am to 6pm but we didn't feel annoyed that much. overall it is still clean and green.

It took us a while to understand that "The Bayview" is actually "Siam Bayview Hotel" so we reached with some confusion. However, it was on the beach road, with a relaxing atmosphere. It was a bummer that to avail the room with a view we were required to pay extra which we weren't aware of before, nevertheless, the rooms we checked-in were comfortable and cozy. The breakfast served at the garden terrace cafe was a wonderful experience; great variety, tasty food, and friendly service. To sum it up, Siam Bayview does indeed offer an enjoyable stay with easy access to nearby attractions.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The swimming pool at Siam Bayview is a must-try activity. Very nice atmosphere.

Terrible hotel with bad services and facilities

We used to be frequent travelers to Thailand every year and this time around staying in The Bayview Pattaya had brought us the worst experience ever.
First off, the location is fantastic located along Beach Road and Second Road which is just next to the Central where you could get some branded shops around.
However, you would need to pay this price to experiencing the noisy 'rhythm' generated by renovation works, old & dirty room, small swimming pools, tiny & slow aged elevators that you could be frustrated to queue before hop (squeeze) in. Long walk to Walking Street and other hot spots.
Apparently the worst comes from their unfriendly staff, to be more specific the frontdesk staff could improve their harsh tones and impatient response to customer's queries.
Pattaya is a fantastic place to relax but not in this hotel obviously.

Central and good value for the money

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel. We enjoyed the location near the beach, the Hilton mall and the generous breakfast buffe. The only flaw is that the WIFI is free only in the lobby, but not in the room just because the hotel hopes to earn some extra money selling internet connection in the rooms!
This was irritating!

The staff was really rude. Rooms were good, and location excellent.
The worst experience was, when we were leaving for airport, and were to board taxi. We were stopped by staff, saying something is missing in the room. (They were talking about the rexin cover of the notepad! Who would take that? and for what?) we explained that the small kid must have dropped it some place, and we can pay for it, but let us go. But they stopped us till they found it in room!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Noong nooch garden should not be missed.
we also enjoyed crocodile pharm, particularly going close to free tigers.
