Very noisy building works

The hotel is undergoing a very major renovation currently (June 2012). This resulted in an intolerable level of driling noise starting at 10am and carrying on until 5pm in the main wing building. I was moved to the garden wing where the noise was not apparant. There are several other long established popular hotels in pattaya which are being renovated so caution advised.
Otherwise the older hotels tend to have by far the best locations and are usually more spacious than the newer hotels.

Great location, but under construction
The location is one of the plus points, however the other Bayview Hotel at the end of Walking Street is much better.

Stayed for 2 nights, the hotel was under renovation, which we where only told upon check in. It was during the day only, so all to ether it was bearable, however it would have been nice to have been informed before hand.
The food was really not up to Thai standards, in Thailand you can eat almost everywhere and have a great meal, but what we had was boring, to say the least.
Breakfast was the same, nothing to write Agoda about.
Other then that, the staff where friendly.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable with a pool, sun lounges, great beds, fast guest laundry, luxury linens but best of all is the friendly team. The shuttle is an amazing service

was an amazing trip at pattaya with Siam Bayview
quiet and relex environment,convenience location, safe and clean.

i was enjoy and found siam bayview hotel is a suitable for who would like to relex and prefer quiet hotel.i like the swimming pool and breakfast very much, and good locatiom near to beach side and shopping area. nice sea view balcony provided and friendly staffs.

My stay at Siam Bayview was excellent. I used the internet daily whilst having a good cup of coffee. The food was superior with good variety of selections to choose from. It was a pleasure to stay at the Hotel and would stay again when I return to Pattaya.

There are hidden fees that aren't shown within the price on this site. First, WiFi is NOT free. It's actually very expensive at day ($12). Next, if you happen to bring a companion back to the room and you had only booked for one, they charge an additional baht
Other than the hidden costs, the place is very exceptional.
