Location and friendly staff Internet speed is very slow Another nice stay at this property. No complaints except the internet speed. Had beautiful seaview room. Nice facilities including pool.

Fantastic swimming pool (perfect for toddlers). Genuine reception staff. New hotel with smart design. Great quality for price. Good location across from beach and not too close to bar scene, despite Soi 6 one street over. Breakfast quality not great. Bad smell emerging from the bathroom. Grounds are small, so do not have a sense of being separated from the street - but that is ok given the price. Of course, everyone I knew warned me not to go to Pattay, but I went with my family and we all enjoyed it. But what were we looking for? A nice resort-style hotel with a great pool for a young child and close enough to the beach - and that's what we got.
Restaurant Tip : World class pizza at Italian restaurant next door.

Awesome views, great pool, exceptional staff, very clean and new, top location (central on Beach Rd) right next to dodgy ladyboy street (soi 6/1). We were only going to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 11. This place exceeded our expectations and the rooms are amazing with the BIGGEST beds I have ever seen!! Double queen size!! The pool is perfect along with two mini hydroslides for the kids and cocktails served at the pool side, literally!! The day staff at reception are super friendly. I couldnt recommend a better place to stay in Pattaya for the price!!
Nightlife Tip : Soi 6 and Soi 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very good seaview bedroom many ants walking through the room the location is very good and convenience to my shopping or beaching. I love the balcony very much that I can see the Pattaya beach every morning when I woke up. Just take a sit at the balcony to enjoy the sea breeze has been good enough for me to spend a day there. The breakfast is another impressed me much area. Didnt think of a mid size beach hotel will have such fruitful breakfast buffet to the guest. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The swimming is also very relax that I would spend a half day there.

Nice, big rooms. Soft beds. Stunning view. Good location. Unfriendly staff members, pool closes at 7pm, expensive food and drink, breakfast buffet often cold. This hotel doesn't dissappoint on what the description tells you. You have a great view of the beach, nice rooms, close to the nightlife and across the street from the beach. The treatment we received from some of the staff members was poor though, and it left us with a sour taste in my mouth. The food and drink was also very expensive and the pool was closed early (7pm). Overall, I would say that I liked the hotel but might try some of the other beachfront hotels next time.

clean, polite service and good response. It is my second time to stay in Discovery resort ( the first time I booked through travel agent)surprisingly, a good hotel like this only cost the minimum in comparison with other 4 star hotel.
The breakfast is good, room is clean, receptor is very polite and friendly. More impressively, the kind size bed is comfortable and bigger than other king size bed in other 4 star hotel. Very close to downtown certer , neverthesless, it is very quite and no noise from street at night time. Trust me, I travled to Pattaya once every three months and this is my best choice ever to stay here.
Hotel Feature Tip : NO DVD player for superior room.

Great beach location with nice pool as well. Beach is located across Beach road, very easy access. Nice pool as well. Quick Baht Bus ride to Walking Street. Would recommend this Hotel for all.

Good location, excellent staff, wireless access included with no fee, very good rooms, nice balcony & great views Nothing really, elevators a little slow to arrive at times. An annoying fly detracted from lunch one day at enclosed beach fron restaurant. Stay in Pattaya alot and last time before this at Montien just up the road. Discovery Beach is by far the best! They have EVERYTHING covered: rooms are spotlessleg) & well appointed with frig, safe, & wireless access at no additional cost. (unlike Montien that for some reason thinks wireless access should cost arm & leg) The breakfast buffet is good (included in our package) and the nice fuit basket delivered to our room was an unexpected welcome surprise. We make this definitely our hotel of choice for future visits.

Actually the hotel is across the street from the Beach but it's as close as you can get. Nice facilities including large pool. Very clean... rooms, hallways, dining area.
Good quality food for breakfast.
Good view from 11th floor. Parking .. not enough inddoor parking.
Lighting infront of the hotel, hard to see from the street.
Naming of hotel may be confusing for some people. The first time going to the hotel is a little difficult to find because the lighting infront of the hotel makes it hard to see the entrance.
The name in front of the hotel is seen as "D-Beach"... which was a bit confusing because everywhere in the reservation is seen as "Discovery Beach".
The hotel is very nice... very new... the employees were good... the breakfast was decent with fresh ingredients. The room is a nice size with very clean bathroom. The view from the room that I stayed was very nice (11th floor). I could see the central to south pattaya beach.

Nice rooms with balconies overlooking Pattaya Bay. Upgrade Internet speed. Breakfast selection could improve a bit. Nice property for the price. Rooms are maintained well and staff was receptive to my requests. Would recommend to anyone. Pool is excellent and your right across from the Beach.
Nightlife Tip : Quick Baht Bus ride to Walking Street. Return to hotel via Baht Bus on 2nd road getting off on Soi 6/1 and walking 2 minutes towards the beach to Hotel.

The pool was great for kids.

Free wiifi in rooms The hotel is right next to one of the 'hot spots' of Pattaya and we were slightly concerned when we checked in having 2 small kids. We never heard or seen a thing. The pool has 2 smallish slides, but it kept the kids entertained for hours upon hours. the rooms were very clean, modern and large. If you want to go to the beach it is just over the main road. great Italian restaurant next door. Service in the hotel was also very good. All in all a very pleasant hotel and one that we will return to.
Restaurant Tip : The Italian next door is great.

breakfast kinds not enough the room is very big with baconly, and each room have a sea view for pattaya bay, the location is so good as oppsite the beach and easy to shopping or eating. the swimming pool is big one, but the breakfast is not enough for kinds. Modern - clean The location of this hotel is excellent (the beach :across the road - a walking distance from everywhere. The hotel is new approx 15 months old.
As often in Thailand, the staff is smiling, helpful and ready for a lot of services.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was modern, large and nicely furnished, and free WiFi.
The swimming pool is very good, the sun beds, towels are perfect (perhaps too much children, but.. )
Breakfast was good and adapted to the nationality of the guests.

There are parking place. Close to beach. Sea view, close to Central Pattaya Festival, Easy to find food, Good parking lot, worth for money, safety, breakfast should be improved, Front office is good but staff in breakfast room not so interested in guest. Room is clean and tidy. Free wireless internet. If you looking for some place for vacation, this hotel is good choice.
