Unless you are fussed about the location, this hotel is NOT worht the price. also, all services nearby are dear as well. have found through friends of cheaper and much better accomodations. breakfast is provided (included in the package), but of the 5 days i have spent here, i haven't had a decent breakfast - today there was some coffee mixed with my tea!!! staff are either not trained or not motivated enough to be professionals. they tried to make money for photocopying two sheets of my passport and to collect keys to to my room as well.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
most sightseeing around pattaya is half day. for most, it is wise to book thru an agent, unless you have your own transport or are familiar with pattaya.

A Nice Surprise!
Location, staff, hotel and room nice and clean, recently renovated room, new drapes, new carpet, comfortable king bed, cable tv, large tub with shower over...elevator, swimming pool very large with many poolside lounges to enjoy the day poolside, plenty of parking - no added fees...complimentary newspapers to read in lobby areas. Convenient location in South Pattaya. East access to local "baht bus" - 10 baht ride to beach and Pattaya area.

Thank you for the welcome surprise...I had heard mixed reviews over recent years from friends, but thought I would try it for myself. Glad I did and will return! A three star hotel at one or two star price...and a great value for less! Glad to recommend it...try it and you too may be surprised!

The hotel is in the centre Pattaya. In 10 minutes from Walking Street and all basic clubs and city bars. It very much was pleasant to me also I once again there has easy stopped.

Not my first time here
Simple, clean, NICE pool, okay free breakfast, near shopping, dining, night life.

I've reviewed this hotel before. For the money you pay, you can get a nice, simple, clean, BIG room. The A/C works great and there are a few TV channels in English. Love, love the pool! There are several restaurants, shopping centers, mini-stores, an internet bar, night clubs, etc. all within easy walking distance. Oh, movie theaters too. The beach is not far away either.

Overall I thought that the hotel was very nice and staff was professional. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was helpful on numerous occasions when I asked for assistance. The swimming pool was a plus for a relaxing day. The location of the hotel is also a plus as you are within easy walking distance of most activities.

Excellent hotel with good numbers. With a fine site near to Walking Street.

I don't know how look another numbers but my number was very nice.
The big deep pool with zone for children. (open from 7 am to 7 pm).
A fine tasty breakfast with a wide choice. (open from 7 to 10) .
Is near to Walking Street and all central entertainments. (bars, clubs and other)
If you want to stay for not long time it is gr8 hotel for you.
Nightlife Tip:
About this hotel Walking Street, set of bars and clubs, to a beach of 5 minutes. A heap of restaurants with meal. The hotel is known by all taxi drivers.

Convenience and price
The goodness is goodness of the location.
It is near from a large-scale shopping center and the beach.
Moreover, it is very near also going out at night for pleasure.

Gentle correspondence of the good location, the low price, and the staff is friendly.
You can peacefully eat breakfast because it goes in the buffet of next morning.
Afterwards, paradise feelings can be exactly tasted if peacefully reading by the pool.
A relaxing room although old. Highly recommended hotel, reasonable.

Christmas and New Year at the Welcome Plaza Hotel
The location of the Hotel is probably the best feature with close proximity to the beach and Walking Street. There was not many other pros for this Hotel.

The stay at the Welcome Plaza was the worst of my four recent visits to Pattaya. The hotel could use renovations particularly to the bathrooms. The cleaning was inconsistent with replacement items, the breakfast was poor, and again I had to purchase, the TV was poor (although for holiday makers maybe not so important). The price was good and the value for money I guess at a stretch was satisfactory. The Hotel is limited to two internet computers for which purchase of a card is required.
Nightlife Tip:
The Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the activities on Walking Street and the surrounding hubbub. Also close proximity to shopping plazas and food malls.

Fantastic Location near beach Rd & walking Street
hotel is very near to the beach road/shopping malls/walking street/night clubs

hotel is very near to beach road and walking street and shopping malls ... Indian food is available in the mall near marriot hotel which is very tasty and cheap also and walking street is just a few minutes walk
Nightlife Tip:
near the walking street and beah road....we frnz were minutes away from these two and really feel that I forgot all the bad things about hotel when I see the approach of walkin street and beach road .
