nice hotel to reasonable price. the pool nice also for relaxing and swimming.had roomservice a few times also enjoyed the thaifood especially..
never had breakfast..as i were there for the nightlife..had a great time at marine disco and then after to marine2..not many people there as there is lowseason.

this is a bad hotel. the staff are very unfriendly and sometimes rude. the rooms are dirty, cockroaches running around
itlooks the place is just about to be shut down so nobody
cares. would not reccomed it to anybody

Nice Hotel, Large Enough Room, Terrific Breakfast
great breakfast buffet, sea view rooms

The hotel rooms were great. Large room with TV, Fridge, showers and more.
Room service was excellent.
The best part was the breakfast and the location of the hotel was close to the Royal Garden Plaza so it was really cool.
We liked it so much we went there again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not miss the breakfast and the wonderfully quiet swimming pool.

Bad experience, No service, Front desk staff is rood, not even a welcome smile on their face. No one from the staff bothers. Toilets are dirty. Corridors, lobby, rooms, even lift is untidy. Rooms not up to mark. Over all a bad experience. They make you feels as you are unwanted guests.

Good points: Extremely convenient location, next to the big department store, walk-able distance to the main beach, huge swimming pool, rich breakfast
Bad points: old style furnished, no wifi, the toilet is very old

Hotel that has potential but falls down on detail

A friend told us that some years ago this was one of teh best hotels in the local area. Unfortunately the furniture and fittings are beginning to show their age, and teh bathrooms in particular need renovation. While teh rooms were large and airy, teh standard of cleaning left a lot to be desired. Worst of all was teh attitude of front desk staff, which was at best surly, if not downright rude. Breakfast was so so.
The hotel is okay for a short stay but could be vastly improved with better management.
Travel tip:
Turn left from the front of the hotel for teh Boat Hoouse restaurant, which sells cheap western food.

Rather run-down hotel needing better management

Got off on the wrong foot with rather rude and unhelpful reception staff. They wanted 2000 baht key deposit in cash for two keys and would not accept a credit card - so I had to go out to an ATM before they would allow check in. Unfortunately the staff did little to reverse my negative judgment when they provided incorrect information about local facilities and were less than helpful about an additional room booking. Visitors should note that even when an Agoda voucher states that breakfast is included, this does not apply to any children staying with two adults in a room, who will be charged extra. Additionally any freshly prepared breakfast items such as omelettes incur an extra charge. The pluses are the large rooms and the pool. The negatives are the run-down bathrooms (this was rust on the rim of our bath tub), the poor breakfast and the rude staff.
