Spa a bit expensive compared to local pricing
The woodland is a fantastic resort - located in the North side of Pattaya just far enough away from the busy area of town so only a short taxi ride way from all the fun. The hotel is very good standard and all of the staff are helpful and friendly . the pool is stunning with comfortable loungers and a bar at poolside . the real plus is La Baguette a french bakery at the hotel entrance
Shopping Tip : Central festival shopping is Huge and Varied

The price is reasonable, and the location is good, staff nice and room is clean enough. We love the resort feeling than other 'hotel building'.The breakfast is soso, but we ordered a pizza from the room service was really lovely. there are free wifi in the lobby area, but the connect speed was not very well.

Beautiful gardens and pools. Wonderful coffe shop (La Baguette) although a little expensive. Most of staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Good relaxing atmosphere.
Rooms a little small for a 4 star hotel. Bathrooms much too small. Hardly any plug points and only 2 pin. Why not extend FREE wi-fi to rooms? All male staff were very good but many females were not friendly and some were unhelpful
All in all a very good relaxing hotel with a good ambience and friendly staff. I did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel but breakfast was good. The room was adequate but not up to 4 star standard because too small. La Baguette coffee shop is top quality although a little expensive. The gardens and pools are really beautiful. Unfortunately some of the reception staff were a bit condescending and unhelpful when I had a small problem. I was also accused of taking a bottle opener from the room for which they wanted to charge me. No evidence was produced to support the claim which I found very insulting. I showed them my own bottle opener which I carry on travels. I was not amused and this is not the sort of treatment I would expect from any hotel let alone a 4 star one. Apart from this and some attitude from reception the experience was very good.
Restaurant Tip : A small typically Thai restaurant at the back of the hotel with excellent fresh fish at cheap prices.

friendly staff, nice rooms and great pool
very good hotel with friendly staff who respond to your requests promptly. A a little bit far from the action in walking street and the beach. But the standards in the hotel make it worthwhile.
Last time I stayed in Jomtien but this hotel was much better. The Big C and a lot of resturants in the area including supermarkets whithin walking distance

Breakfast, many types of food, quality is good.
Poor freewifi in lobby, occassionally breakdown and not working.
Room is tidy and spacious, willing to help in all cases, housekeeping is efficient.
One bad thing is room facing a noisy pub and I can hear the noise until 1-2am.
Swimming pool was full of tree leaves and nobody cleared them.
IT Manager was helpful when the lobby freewifi was not working properly.
Massage in the Spa was good.
In general, I will recommend this hotel and be back again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Wifi provision should be reliable.

Beautiful swimming pool, friendly staff, clean rooms
Situated very near to the city centre (beach street and first street) but yet far from noise. Great hotel and excellent value for money. Available parking for cars and motor bikes, good breakfast and generally an ideal hotel for your next holidays in Pattaya. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to go there.
Shopping Tip : Great shopping and dining.

pool area, reception area, breakfast, rooms
well, I have now stayed in 17 different hotels in pattaya, and this was the best value for money. I paid for a deluxe room, very spacious, nice decor, 3rd floor (no elevator), overlooking the pool. The pool is lovely, long and tropical.Friendly reception staff. I have read complaints about bugs and dirty pool, well this is a hotel with tropical gardens, so of course there are mosquitos and bugs. The pool looks dirty because its surrounded and overlooked by trees, and leaves fall into the pool. The rooms are excellent, buffet breakfast has a very large selection, and the location is great, 2 minutes walk from the Dolphin roundabout on Naklua.
Nightlife Tip : Gullivers restaurant 2 minutes away on a baht bus, shows all premier league football...

Relaxing resort style
Good staff
Car Parking
This was my second stay at Woodlands and this time I took an booked what I thought would be a better room if price is to be the judge.
I was given a nice room with a little more space for a desk to work from and everything else about the room was fine.
The issue was the room was close to the Pattay - Naklua road and one of the gogo bars had very loud music blaring every night of the week until late.
As I was there on business, i was not on tourist hours and needed to sleep during the working week.
It is a pity that this one aspect spoiled the stay for me.

Best choice for the trip to relux, especialy family. Coz Quiet area with nice swimming pool. Night time no noise of city so much. and the facility of the room enough.
The location of hotel isn't so convenient but, available the Stores and food shop... so, this is enough hotel as best price.

The grounds are fairly nice.
Internet is pricey, and the free wireless in the lobby was not working. Staff seems a little indifferent.
The grounds and pool are fairly nice at the Woodlands. Location is near Dolphin Circle, which is convenient. As other reviewers mentioned, internet access in the rooms is pricey. And I found the free wifi in the lobby down more than up. The staff seem only mildly interested when you point this out.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you need internet access, you're better off going to an internet cafe, and avoid the cost and hassle at the hotel.

good breakfast with varieties (including bread, cornflakes, omelete, simple japanese food, thai noodles, congee, fruits, juice), simple welcome drinks, 3 restaurants inside hotel, a swing inside the garden
small toilet and bathroom, no free internet in hotel, water is turbid in 2 swim pools, blanket is not clean and my skin get rash after that.
I stayed in superior twin-beds room for 2 nights. The location is easy to find, near Dolphin Circle. It takes about 30 min. walk from Central Festival to Woodland. Although water was turbid in 2 swim pools, the gate connected to Woodland Suite was opened when Italian restaurant is opened. We swam in there with good quality water and deeper pool. Blanket was not very clean.
Shopping Tip : Walk to Central Festival for about 30 min, Walk to Tesco Lotus about 10 min.

pools, staff,location,rooms.
some rooms on the top level have their entry door facing the road and get noise from bars.
The pools are great, lots of space and sun lounges and shade for you to have a relaxing quiet time. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to help in any way they can,all had big smiles and good english. We had a minor problem with the lighting in our room on the first night, when we let the reception know in the morning they had us moved to another room in a flash. We had a deluxe room. We found it to be spotlessly clean and spacious with good air con. We liked that used towels were changed again every night with the bed turn down services. The grounds have a tropical setting that is so peaceful and yet still close to baht bus and good restaurants.I would recommend to anyone who wants to be able to access bars in Pattaya via BAHT BUS but who would like a quieter location. Great value for money.
Restaurant Tip : There is a good german restaruant (they do thai too) called BAZI. It is down the side street opposite the front of hotel. The food is to die for and the servings huge!

Location on Naklua - Pattaya road the quiet end of Pattaya was good for me
Friendly staff
car parking
I am a business traveller and for me the back room away from the street allowed me to get good rest without the noise from the gogo bars on Pattaya - Naklua road.
The check in service was efficient and the car parking attendants were very helpful getting me parked.
My trip was a split trip with me needing to come back to Pattaya and I chose to stay here the second time.
Restaurant Tip : 200 metres further away from the roundabout is Bon Cafe, nice clean and cheerful place to eat.
