Friendly attentive staff. Clean with nice grounds & pools. Quite but convinient location.
Honestly struggling to think of any cons. The smaller swimming pool was closed for a day or two for maintenance, but it has to be done sometime.
Really pleased with this place. My brother was visiting for three days and Woodlands Resort was perfect for us. Great place to relax during the day, and if you want some nightlife its only a few minutes walk to jump on a sangtaew and for 10 Baht you will get as far as Walking Street.
I liked one of the rules at the pool which was if you leave your towel on the sunbed for more than 20 minutes they will be removed. No hogging the sunbeds!
Really good rooms. Not sure how old the place is but nothing seems broken or dated.
Singles and families will love this place.
Nightlife Tip : Very cheap convinient sangtaew taxi service to anywhere

Great location and great staff
This was my third visit to the Woodlands and I have enjoyed every visit. The hotel is in a great location and it is a very relaxing place to stay. The great here are great and particularly the staff at the pool who mix a great cocktail. The health spa here is one of the best in Thailand and well worth a visit.
Restaurant Tip : Visit Mr. Sony tailors outside the other Woodlands hotel and get some well made suits and shirts.

internet connection need to be charged
the hotel really have resort feel. is really make you relax at there. and the swimming pool is god, with a pool bar. the staff is kindly and helpful. the only thing need to improve is the connection of the internet. it didn't have wifi and it is no free of charge but nowadays most hotel already free to the customer for that. and the connection also not very stable. Besides, the hotel this just perfect if you really want a relaxing holiday.

Swimming pools, staff, setting
We found the Woodlands to be in a lovely setting, the pools and surrounding areas were lovely. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean and service was excellent. The only problem we found was that due to the foliage and overgrown plants around the grounds this lead to a lot of insects and mosquitos with occasional mosquitos in the bedroom. This did not in anyway spoil our holiday.

Real nice place, quiet even its very central to everything. When we come in to the hotel area we could not hear the noise from the street outside.
Not any real weakness.
what I dislike was many of the guest as occupied the sunbed from early morning without using them before lunch time.
I will for sure visit Woodland also in the future, the rooms was very nice and so clean, every day after the pool visit we could smell fresh after the room cleaners.
Even they clean the room in the afternoon, not just make it ready for the night.
Breakfast was also very good, both Western and Chinese style. Can recommend this hotel for all kind of visitors.

It was a very good hotel, nice rooms good staff. Good roomservice. Nice Gym, not everything was hightech, but for work out it was good. The food at the breakfast was very good.
The swimmingpool was to cold for my little boy, and for my wife either, because it lays most of the time in the shadow, it doesn't get any warmer. The prices of the drinks, or cocktails where to high.
It was a pleasant stay at woodlands. It was a very good resort, not a very good location. Because where you wanna go, beach or nightlife you must walk for like 10 till 20 minutes or take a taxi. The breakfast was very good at the resort, but the prices for softdrinks or cocktails where very high. And the swimmingpool was to cold.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : go to jomtien beach for better beach and more quite then pattaya beach

Recommend this hotel which the atmosphere can let people feel relax and comfortable.
I like this place and hope can get another chance to stay again! the location is good, which near the Tiffany show and the spa, also the staff is very friendly and willing to help! I had a great time there, people who go to pattaya and want to relax yourself really should come to here.

Very nice, \nvery tidy, \n2 swimming pools 1 is 2.8 meters deep.\nGood, fresh food every morning with a choice of European and Thai food.
The beach in Pattaya was very small and had a lot of rubbish in it, sea water was quite dirty too, stained our swimming suits. so better to use hotel's swimming pool. thats probably the only con but its not a hotel's fault.\nand the air-con could be slightly quieter.
Our room was only 2-3 meters away from the pool.\nThey made up our beds in the morning and in the evening. Staff is very friendly, and speak multiple languages at a reasonable level. Also its not on the main road and no nightclubs right next to it. That helps you relax after a long day of sightseeing etc. :)\nHotel is managed by a German guy thats probably why its in good condition and quite a few german families staying there.\nWe were there on 12th Nov 08 it coincided with their Krantong Festival, Hotel made a very nice dinner with the dances, songs and Tiffany show etc.\nvery entertaining
Restaurant Tip : there are lots of different European and Thai style restaurants just across the road.\nthe other good one belongs to Woodlands called \"La Bouquet\" the only place in Thailand that makes reasonable coffee.

we stayed at woodlands resort end oct - early nov 2008 for 6 nights. The hotel has excellent location. is within walking distance or shopping and many attractions. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. the pool was good and the coffee shop/bakery was to die for. Would recommend for couple, singles or families. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I appreciated a beautiful subtropical garden. I'm happy to stay there. Most of all, all workers are very kind. And this hotel has three swimming pools and enjoy there just opening the window and going out.
Too many mosquitoes bother me.
This hotel has very beautiful garden. And it is very near to the dolphin status, therefore it is easy to find and take a Sungtau (a truck bus) to go the working street of Pattaya. Anyone ever visited this hotel will choose this hotel again, owing to the wonderful garden and comfortable going to downtown.

Nice clean rooms, nice pools, spa
Nice clean room - modern furnishings etc.
Quiet, lovely gardens and pool - didn't get up in time for breakfast though!!! Liked the location too as I don't like being too central. Just a songthaew ride away from everywhere. Once inside the resort it didn't feel like you were on the road. Friendly, helpful staff. Would reccommend and would stay there again!

good location. good staff. room status is nice.
....
it s really nice hotel. beach is not too far from hotel. just 10min on foot. two swimming pool are there. and you can get lots of facilities. the food they give you is nice as well. Especially the breakfast time is pretty long. the over all atmosphere in hotel is peaceful. My friend and I felt like we were in the peaceful village. the important thing is pretty cheap price. there are so many good hotel in Pattaya but expensive. But this hotel is not only cheap but also of a good status. that is my point in recommending it to you.
Nightlife Tip : walking street is good for night life.
no cars allowed and so many cool places.

Beutifully maintained and layed out. Very friendly staff.
Reception needs more training. Check-in and check-out were problems. All of the reception staff had problems of not knowing their job very well.
This was a wonderful experience. The grounds are covered with lush bushes and trees and maintained daily. The two pools are beautiful - very well designed and maintained. The hotel is quiet with no loud music and the staff appear to enjoy their jobs. Everybody is very polite. All of the facility is spotlessly clean and the rooms are emaculate. The Spa is very professional.
Hotel Feature Tip : The pool was the greatest
