Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Forget about finding this place
6.7
this place is very difficult to find. they have only signs in thai and there is nothing in english to help you locate this very off the road hotel.
the people were nice once we got there but the room was not worth the frustration of finding it.

Nice Budget Hotel Ideal
Swimming Pool, Clean, Mordern, Fantastic Value for money, Nice Staff
8.7
Really pleased when we arrived at Homeland Resort. We was greeted with a smile and checked in really quickly and given our keys to our rooms.
There was 4 of us (two couples) and couldn't believe that for 500 Baht (about a tenner in sterling per room) that was the price for what we was looking at, outstanding value for money.
Nice big swimming pool, really clean spacious rooms. Modern looking and nice and quiet and relaxing.
Im not one for moaning about little pathetic things like some folk, like there was no soap oh my oh gosh we couldn't get over that it and it ruined our stay so there is no complaints from us, nothing that's worth complaining about unless your a typical moaning person that's never satisfied with anything.
If your looking for somewhere to stay in Phetchabun and you have transport as it's a little drive outside of the town then we thoroughly recommended Homeland Resort.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Swimming Pool and plenty of parking.

Good hotel to stay. But this is far from the hilly area of Phetchabun. You can visit the national forests and some water falls from here. Climate is not cold even in January. Whereas hilly areas of phetchabun are much colder than this area. There is nothing near the hotel. It’s a residential area. Food is ok. We took only breakfast and dinner at this hotel. Within 4km there are Tesco and Big C. Overall it’s a very good economical hotel.

Quite Resort north of Phetchabun
Quite, clean business hotel - one stop shop
7.3
I stayed at the Homeland Resort for one night and it did all, I expected and more.
There´s a nice pool and a good Thaifood restaurant, which is pretty convinient as there´s not a lot around and if you don´t want to drive into town you have a good alternative.
Rooms are a bit dated but clean and quite.

good location, but scary entrance
good location, good price

We chose this hotel because of the price and location. The entrance of the hotel from the main road is quite scary, makes me thing of a huanted village or so. The room condition is ok. Bed is too soft.

A little gem, known only by Thais...
Cheap, full comfort accomodation with all the facilities of a 3 star hotel
10
I chose this hotel because it was a hotel I was planning as a midway point on a route from Bangkok to Mae Sot via Lom Sak and Phitsanulok. I was completely taken aback by the level of comfort and the nice setting. The motel is situated in the middle of nowhere, in a little quiet "Moo Baan" (suburb), but if you are driving, it is an excellent point to stop by and take a rest for the night. They had all the facilities of a 3 star hotel, for the price of a guest house. The staff was extremely kind, and for the price, this cannot be beaten in terms of convenience and ease. The rooms are spacious, and although you cannot ask for complete luxury, they are quite pleasant and restful (an excellent bed, BTW). There is even a pool over there, so, you could really have a totally incredible experience at a ridiculous price given the comfort of the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not much to do in the surroundings... So best use it as a stop on your way to Lom Sak. There is also an excellent pool which we did not test.

Hotel is located in Homeland Village, a residential area outside of the main city. Not easy to get to unless you have your own transportation. Lots of parking. Rooms are very basic, you get what you pay for. The room has a balcony but it looks like it has not been cleaned in years so I did not even dare to venture out to it. Don't expect any luxuries in this hotel but it serves it's purpose as an overnight stop for a bed and rest enroute to another destination.

Good moderate quality hotel
Great pool, dining outside by pool, good price
6
We were using this hotel as a transit overnight stop en-route from Nongkhai to Kanchanaburi. It's location is outside Petchebun and about 1km off the main road but was surprisingly pleasant, great value for money. The pool area was very lovely, dining there for dinner and breakfast was very relaxing.
Hotel Feature Tip:
We asked for quiet rooms, that was the case until 7am the next day when the local village loudspeakers announced (at full volume) what was taking place in the area that day. It was 10 minutes of talking and Thai music, there is no way one could sleep through it so if you want quiet and a lie in then this hotel may not be for you.

Nothing Special
Nothing Special more than a cheap apartment room.
3.3
The room was ok but not consider clean, Lot of dust, The rate of this resort is 500bhat which almost the same as agoda rate. Pool water is very dirty. Not very value for money. But it is a good location to stop at if you are traveling to other province the next morning.
