There was a plate filled with 5-6 kinds of fruit provided. Not sure if it's there because I said that night was my honeymoon!!
The hotel is quite old. The floor shrieks when it's walked on, esp the part that is connected with carpet. A bellboy complainted out loud at 5 a.m. that he didn't get even 20 THB tip from the arriving group tour - that's disturbing.
The room is reletively big but with few facilities. The hotel is equipped with local satellite tv but all movie channels are in Thai soundtrack. There is a sign of 'UBC cable magic' there though! Bathroom is okay but there is a slope on tile at the bathtub which causes water to run down and wet the floor when I'm having a shower. The food is OK. Thai food is adapted to foreigner's taste - not spicy at all. It has very limited choice for breakfast - eggs, ham, sausages, toasts, a few selection of bread, boiled rice and 2 Thai entrees with rice. The taste is edible, not impressive.

Oasis in the heart of Phitsanulok. Quiet and secluded although only just off the main highway.
Spa/leisure facilities were excellent as was the buffet breakfast and dinners, large selection of both Asian and European cuisine to suit all tastes. Rooms clean and spacious with a plentiful supply of water in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was provided by a live band which was greatly appreciated by my 2 year old daughter.
All staff efficient and friendly, would definitely stay again.
