Also nearby is the night bazaar and old city walls built during the reign of King Borommatrailokkanat of Ayutthaya to prevent the attack of Lanna troops. With four national parks, many endangered species of animals, and the Shrine to King Naresuan the Great, it is well worth the trip. People have been living in this region since the Stone Age and today are the “bread basket” of Thailand.

- Nightlife Tip : Great bars near the night market were my husband and son sat while my daughter and I got our nails done very very cheap
