Hotel seems a bit lousy , their staff is slow by check-in . First day we checked in the room was a bit dusty , bathroom drain was blocked . And I should also mention the staff who was sweeping the stairs was landing all the dust on my hair(she was sweeping the stairs to the space). Location is very convenient , 2-3min walking to Patong Beach . There is a 7-11 shop nearby . Many restaurants are nearby also . At last the pool was also a disappointment for me .

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When booking for Phuket Fantasea show, request to be pick up at least 3 hours before show start for shopping and photo taking time. Otherwise it is not enough time after the shoe and buffet dinner.

We had pleasant stay at 7Q Resident Hotel; It's worth for every penny you spent. Nice & Clean Rooms with almost 4* standard decorations and amenities. Staffs were really helpful, eventhough bell boys had some difficulties in understanding what we were telling; But they managed to get the things done. Roof top pool had awesome view of Patong Beach.
Breakfast served was okay for short stays; serves the same pattern dish everyday. If they can improve by changing the menu for each day... they will be the best hotel anyone stay.
Another plus point was, Hotel Owner Mr. Anas was always available for your help and he's really friendly.
Hotel Feature Tip:
They serves Halal Food; and there Masjid (Mosques) near by just five minute walkable distance, 7/11 supermarket is next door.

nice hotel near to the beach

the room is clean and tidy, and as simple as a 3 star hotel. the view from the roof top pool is nice because facing to the beach but parent have to monitor their own children carefully as there is no lifeguard around.
Shopping Tip:
the location is abit far for those who wanna go to jongcelyon or bangla road for nightlife or shopping (not withing walking distance). advisable to rent a bike instead of take tuk tuk if there are not that many ppl travel together as the tuk tuk fares is expensive.

New hotel with good rate......

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and satistied with this hotel. This hotel has built 2 years ago so can say that this hotel is still new. The room is convenience with 2 single beds and accomodate with LCD TV in each room. Free WIFI on every rooms and lobby. Patong beach is in walking distance about 5 minutes, Jungceylon Mall and Bangla road around 10 minutes by taxi or you can walk along the patong beach to reach the Mall and Bangla road but maybe will takes 30 minutes walk.
The staffs can speak english and very handy.
Restaurant Tip:
There is good restaurant which served western and Thai food in front of this hotel with reasonable price.

Lovely hotel, bad service and not helpful

When arriving to the reception with many bags and a young child we didn't get a normal greeting like "hello how are you?" and can have offer to help with the bags. we had to make the first move to actually talk to the staff. It wasn't a language barrier as the staff were Thai and so is my wife. I just think inexperienced staff and pretty rude. The best member of staff that was there was the maintenance person as with my next problem he tried his best to fix and smiled. When booking a hotel due to having a small child I always look for a bath. Now on the website here it stated that it had a bath. This was true but they took all the plugs out. Now what is the point in a bath with no plug. When ask for a plug the first person said that they never came with plugs. Now that is not true. Second person says that the plug is broken, third person maintenance man went in to a cupboard and got one and fix straight away.
Nightlife Tip:
Bangla Road is not far away on a tuk tuk and many shopping malls as well
