Gorgeous view. Delicious food. Great rooms. Close to airport so short transfer time.
Not much in the local area - need to walk on beach to find other food etc. You cannot swim in the sea - very long walk & very flat bay means water very shallow. Don't look at the construction site next door (although it seems to have stalled, so no noise when I was there)
Adamas Resort is gorgeous - lovely grounds and big BIG swimming pool. Indeed some rooms have direct pool access & their own sunbeds. Food is excellent partic the breakfast buffet. There is a small area of private beach but the huge public beach is there for walking on.
Big rooms with dark wood & beautiful black bathrooms. Glass mosaic bath & separate shower, polished metal bowl sink. Walk in wardrobe. Black satin robes & slippers.
A very romantic resort. Recommended.
Travel tip : Arrange hotel to pick you up at the airport.
Airport taxi monopoly will try to charge you minimum 500 baht for the 10 minute car journey!

-Friendly Staff
-Great in house restaurant
-secluded and peaceful
-excellent spa services
-overall, the hotel looks like it needs a touch up . fine cracks and minor damages here and there that arent obvious on first look
- a lot of insects in the room and around the hotel. had a minor ants problem with my room
overall me and my partner had an excellent time during our stay at the hotel. all the staffs were helpful with any of our requests and we did have a few weird requests(in my opinion). The buffet breakfast has a good range of food choices and they taste great.
but do be aware that ants might be a lil problem as the hotel is literally surrounded by forests, red ants and common antas are everywhere !!

toilet paper was decorated nicely
attitude of staff
watery cocktails
mould on pillowcase
no hot water
surcharge which isnt advised until after bill
competency of staff
pool cleaners in pool at peak times
buffet books out
overcharged prices of restaurant and taxis
staff not welcoming, had to search for reception
some staff rude
poor english
no free airport transfer
did not get room which we paid for
nothing was done when complained about hot water
We were so disappointed with this place, I would never recommend it to anyone! This is certainly not a 5 star resort, it would be a 3.5 to a 4 if anything. We stayed at 5 different hotels on our trip, ranging from 3-5star and this was by far the worst! We stayed at a place that had better service ! It is out in the middle of nowhere and they want an arm and a leg to take you anywhere in their taxis. Pad Thai should cost around 130baht at most at hotels and they want 318baht! Definitely no 5 star service here! Avoid at all costs. Beach and pool not even that nice plus you probably wouldnt get the room you asked for anyway. We had an early flight and it was not nice having to take a cold shower at a place we paid so much money for on a rainy morning.
Shopping Tip : There is a taxi service outside the hotel which Im sure would give you better deals. Get a taxi to Nai Yang beach for dinner and a massage and good service!

Very nice interior design of the rooms, very spacious pool, one can swim really around
Access to the sea is only via a public beach which was more a sand barrier than a beach when I was there, the sea was 300m away and one could only stand in the water
Food was good (not cheap though), Hotel staff was very friendly - from the beach one can walk about 1km and then reach a strip lined with restaurants and bars, to see sth else than the Hotel - the airport is just a 10min drive away, but yet I thought noise from the planes was no problem, I only saw then when they climbed up in the sky

Location, the pools, gym, happy hours, food and breakie. Dead close to Airport, great if arriving late or want limited hassle after long flights. Friendly staff.
Aircon was a bit noisy and not chilling! Not a great deal to do in the area.
Big disused hotel on the next hill is an eyesore.
The beach is not a patch on Kata/Phi Phi et al.
We stayed for 2 nights on arrival to Thailand, with different arrival times this hotel close ot the airport was just what we needed. They gave em a lift to collect my girlfriend later and were cheaper than the taxi I had taken on my arrival in Phuket (400bhat).
At time of our visit, late Oct, the hotel was very quiet, moslty Japanese families and a few couples, which made it a very stress free raxaling place. The staff were great, polite and useful, arranged all our travel needs with ease. The 2-4-1 cocktail happy hour is excellent, many resorts just reduce price by 50bhat! Food was great, especially the breakie! The pool took me about 5mins to swim a lap, excellent, the small gym was well equipped.
Admitidly it is a bit expensive to eat here compared to most Thai places but it is still very cheap compared to UK, take a walk up teh beachand there are a whole host of cheaper bars, restos, massage places to use.
Room was beautiful, the bathroom, mosaic inlaid bath, the shower, the towels folded in an elephant figure, the flowers, fruit bowl.... Well worth it, and the hotel band did the most priceless cover of Pokerface you'll ever hear!
Restaurant Tip : Enjoy Happy Hour cocktails then take a walk up the beach to find a load of good bars and restaurants, cheaper than the hotel. Its safe in the dark, but just be careful if tide is high crossing the little stream.

- quite resort
- well maintained property
-excellent service
- big rooms
- lovely arranged pool infront of all building
- beach a bit small and water is too far away due to the falling tide
I stayed at the Adamas resort & Spa for the first time for a long weekend and I was more than happy with my stay. Coming from a hospitality background I am perhaps not easy to please but my stay succeeded my expectations by far. The service throughout the entire hotel was outstanding and friendly. The food in the terrace restaurant as well as rooms service has reasonable prices and is very good. The decor of the rooms is lovely and they are quite spacious. The entire property is well maintained. If you are looking to lie at the beach the entire day this might not be the perfect hotel as the beach in front of the hotel is pretty small. But only 400m away is a lovely beach at Nai Yang and there are located a few nice local restaurant and a really good diving center where I spend most of my weekend. As I said before I was completely happy and upon departure I booked already my next weekend stay
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : - paradise diving about 500m down the beach
- canoe tour through the caves of the national park (was just amazing)

A BIT TOO SECLUDED.FROM MAIN ROAD TO HOTEL 10 MIN VERY DARK AND SCARY ROAD.HOTEL FOOD BIT PRICEY,IF YOU WANT OUTSIDE FOOD,10 MIN WALK AND GET WET A BIT AT FRONT OF HOTEL TO BEACH.
I like the room very much,u'll feel welcome with a cute elephant folded with towel(even 3rd floor by stair)but the rood to hotel at night very scary and dark, rubber estate all the way to hotel front door.Lots of JELLY FISH n rubbish on the beach ,water clear
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 10 min walk u can get outside food, massage (250Baht 1hour)cheaper.

- very quiet
-relaxing
-great service but non-invasive
- no soap or conditioner
- food kind of expensive and adequate
A perfect quick escape - very close to airport and lovely surroundings. Room was very well-equipped and soaking bathtub a real perk. Nicely laid out. Very very quiet and not near much, but if isolation is what you're after, this is the spot.

Very good atmosphere! Good for couples and even family.
The swimming pool has excellant view and is connected to the pool access rooms. The resort is also very near the airport.
Not suitable if you are looking for some adventure.
The resort has very good interior design. Good sea view and own personal beach. Pool villa and pool access resorts offer you very unique experience. Normal luxury room also provides you very excellant view. Breakfast is good!!
However, the staff are not that proficient in English.
Transport to town area is convenient but only certain timing. Spa services is excellant.
However, recreation activities rather limited.
Restaurant Tip : The room service is rather expensive. Head out to town to find something cheaper yet nicer!!!

very clean, very friendly staff. great food, veiws, pools, rooms...
location is a little out of the way
From the minute you arrive you are made to feel so special. The service was above and beyond most places i've stayed. The grounds on which the hotel sit are beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel is a little out of the way. You don't really come and go as you please because the journey makes you think twice but if you happy to kick back and enjoy the wonders of what the resort has to offer then its a great place to stay. perfect for loved up couples.
Travel tip : Make sure you tip. The service theses guys provided should make it more then easy to throw them a few baht and a smile.

Nice big atrium, friendly, helpful and very efficient staff, room has a slightly old feeling to it, but its clean and well equipped. Restaurant and swimming pool both good quality.
Needs to be updated a bit.
Th hotel was very nice and is situated in a good location. th hotel staff are extremely efficient and willing to help and their English is excellent. The restaurant serves good food at a price that is about right for the quality. The rooms have a slightly older feel, as if they were made in the eighties and not updated much since, but are clean and have satellite TV, mini bar and aircon, as expected. All in all, the hotel is priced at about the right amount for what you get and one of it's best features is it's location, with a BTS skytrain station only five minutes walk away and local restaurants and bars nearby.
Travel tip : Use the skytrain if you have to go anywhere in Bangkok. It is both cheap and clean and is easily the quickest way to travel across Bangkok, as the traffic is really bad.

Beautiful resort and surroundings
Secluded
True 5 star room and bathroom
Beach was very dirty (poss. due to low season)
WOW! What an amazing resort! From the moment you step into the beautiful 'lobby', you know that you are stepping into a true 5 star resort, it is truly stunning. Staff were extremely frindly and helpful, presenting us with floral bracelets and a cool refresher towel on arrival. We were shown to a delightful room overlooking lush gardens and a never ending pool. The room has everything you could ask for. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety to suit everyone. The resort is secluded and pretty far from everything, but that was what we wanted anyway. We had an amazing stay here and wished we could have stayed longer! The only downside was the adjoining beach was quite dirty (which seemed to be all beaches in phuket in low season).I would recommend this resort to anyone!
Nightlife Tip : If your after a party style nightlife, don't stay here. If your after truly relaxing and quiet nights, this is the place for you!!

Very well presented, rooms and facilities are good.
The resort location, was not where it was positioned on the location map, which was disappointing when we found we were at least 5 km by road to Nai Yang Beach restuarants and bars.
As a resort, there are few around that are as well presented, the staff and facilities are excellent. The location was a disappointment as we expecteted to be much closer to the local restaurants and bars. You could only access these by walking about 1km along the beach at low tide. We did cut our stay here short because of this. Unfortunately because of the location it become a little expensive using local taxis to ferry us around. For someone who wants a perfectly quiet holiday and has no need to leave the resort, this would be ideal.
Travel tip : If you need to be close to something other than just the resort facilities, this resort is not for you.

Tremendous value, well appointed large rooms
We were worried at first that the hotel may be a bit ut of the way. In the end, we were able to use the shuttle to the beach and it was only a 5 minute walk to the restaurant area of Kata. The hotel itself was wonderful. The guest rooms were large and they offered every conveniance of far more expensive hotels. The room layout is great and provides privacy even with the balcony doors open. Our room was were very clean and every thing worked. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
Travel tip : Try the Thai cooking class across the street, it was great.

The best features were that it was away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. The pool was excellent (huge) and easy access from the room and the staff were very very helpful; remembered your name, knew your room and said hello and chatted each time they saw you
It is quite pricey ie the food and spa services but it is a 5 star resort - so that is to be expected. The only other weakness was the location - it is only 500 m from the road but to get from the road to the hotel involved a 10 min drive on a street. It is not near any shops etc which is good and bad ie good to be away from it all but meant to go anywhere was a little difficult (although we had a car which made it easy as)
The rooms are spacious, the staff friendly, the food nice and the pool just superb. The location (distance) is a bit off-putting but we had a car so it didn't really matter.
Hotel Feature Tip : The lobby bar has a happy hour from 5pm to 7pm where you get 2 drinks for the price of 1 - which made the prices extremely cheap.
