Wonderful Stay

Went to Aleenta for our honeymoon and stayed at one of their pool villas.
Generally the place is far away from city area, ideal for travelers who love to enjoy peace and quiet. There are no other forms of entertainment(night clubs etc.) though.
The breakfast provided is fantastic and the staffs are very responsive. We had enjoyed our stay there very much.
Highly recommended!

The beachfront suites are a little bit of a walk, but it's nice that they are literally separated from the other units. The only drawback is that 2-3 suites share the common area and pool. Not a big issue. The front suite has a fully unobstructed view of the beach. The back suite has a 70% obstructed view. Above the back suite is a back top suite which has an unobstructed view, but unfortunately gets quite warm! Other than the resort facilities, unfortunately there isn't much else around (maybe because it's low season??) so you can use their bicycles (provided free of charge) or rent a car / taxi into the city and see the some of the sights (including a market just 5-10min away).
Hotel Feature Tip:
The spa is quite relaxing. I recommend booking early because it fills up quickly. The "Happy Hour" at the bar was completely dead. The bartender wasn't even sure if there was one offered (no separate menu or promotional material).

Nice resort but not a good location

They have good very nice rooms and atmosphere, staffs were extremely friendly, very up to standard hotel but after an hour after I checked in the room electricity went down, and it took more than half an hour to recover. Not a good location, you can hardly found anything to do in that area, but it is just nice for honeymooners.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If not mistaken it's near to James Bond island, you may take one day tour to visit.

This place was truly wonderful. If you want to go to Thailand to relax and spend time with your husband/wife instead of partying, go here instead of Phuket proper. The beach is amazing and literally right out your front door. Being on the west side, the beach isn't covered in broken coral like the east side of the peninsula/island. The rooms are glass walled (curtains for when you need privacy) with skylights so it feels like you're sleeping on the beach, only in a very comfortable bed. My only complaint is that there isn't much around the hotel so you're basically forced to eat at the hotel. The food is truly excellent and not overpriced considering the quality and cost of the hotel.

Stayed 3 nights with my husband and we can say we did not feel like going out of the resort at all if not for the beach. Breakfast served was excellent, ala carte buffet style. We had 3 course set dinner at the beach bar, it was fantastic and price is decent as well.
Shopping Tip:
Resort did not provide toothbrush and toothpaste and we had to go out to get it. Nearest Tesco supermarket is about 10-15mins drive and you can easily hire the private taxi at the stand just outside the hotel. (price for the private taxi is pretty steep though, but guess we had no choice)

i have my 10th anniversity in this excellent resort.
i ordered beachfront suite before but i was upgraded to pool suite. with outdoor shower, private pool, jazzcuzi. perfect for couple.
we arrived aleenta at 10pm, welcome me and my boyfriend was a friendly staff with warm smile, and most importantly, two cups of iced water. everything here just make us feel warm and comfortable. e.g they use my name as wifi password. light up aromo every night. fresh fruits provided everyday. service was very very attentive.
we had bicycle trip, as i am a short chinese girl. aleenta arranged me a small bicycle that make me feel more easy to go out. we also had thai cooking class. a very memorable experience as the chef lead us to a local market and introduce us some fresh herbs, ingredients usually used in thai food. and we had our cooking class and dinner around 5:00 - 8:00pm. a relaxing but memorable experience.
just few steps to private beach, less than 20 people enjoy a peaceful beach.
the only limitation was the location. 30 mins from airport but more than an hour to patong. however, if you reward yourself a peaceful and relaxing holiday. it should not be a problem. food there is good and in reasonable price. also there are 2-3 mini store and restaurants.

An amazing surprise to find this thoughtfully operated, well designed hotel. Very well considered rooms and services. Professional, friendly, helpful service. An exquisite beach. Great food at three impeccable on site restaurants. No reason to leave the grounds really... Ever.
