Great service and good rooms

View from our room was really bad. kind of like having a balcony overlooking a junk shop. There were three of us and they gave us rooms which were on the same floor but were on different ends. Was advised those were the only rooms with twin beds. (originally booked for four and requested twin beds in each room). The rooms were spacious enough and the airconditioning was good, shower room was ok too.

I can't fault this Hotel,it was in a great quiet location yet within walking distance of main shopping and night life areas , clean and staff were very helpfully and freindly ,my first time in Phuket and won't be my last and my Hotel on my next visit will definitely be the Al Fresco

Great hotel with wonderful staffs

Stayed there for 4 nights in a suite room. Staffs were great and breakfast was good. Rented a car from airport and drove up to Krabi. Covenience mart just beside the hotel. Food all around, definately will not be hungry. 15mins walk to patong beach and they provide 1 way complimentary tuk-tuk service to anywhere in patong.

Good service but off the beaten path

This place is a little out of the way from the action and the beach. They do have a tuk tuk but it only takes you to the shopping center. I don't mind walking but there is a pack of dogs that hangs out on the street there and one night they were barking and following me. The hotel itself is clean and safe and the staff is very nice. I did however have one problem where the personal safe in my room malfunctioned and I couldn't open it. The only one who could open it is the manager who wasn't around. He did come in specially to open it and although they said it would take an hour and a half for him to get there but he was there in less than an hour. There are so good restaurants there and a family mart and ATM'S with transport close by to take you anywhere. For the money this hotel is good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's easiest to take a tuk tuk or taxi to where you need to go than to walk and the hotel's tuk tuk only runs until 9pm, so factor the taxi baht into your budget for this hotel and taxis in phuket aren't cheap.

Clean and modern hotel with nice decor

Alfresco is a great little hotel with a starkingly modern decor and stylish design in a seemingly newly built house. The staff was very helpful, the free tuktuk service to the main street is useful and breakfasts are big. Only downside would be the location and surroundings, as it is literally bang in the middle of a dusty giant construction site and by a very busy road of construction trucks. The map they provide on their webpage is also extremely deceptive making it out like they are just behind Jungceylon, its more like a 2k walk along the dusty nomansland.
