Coolest features - the hotel is slightly removed from craziness of Patong, has a nice view of the sea, nice pools and grounds, clean + usable gym, convenient facilities, extremely friendly, efficient + helpful staff, clean + comfy rooms, and parking facilities if you hire scooter/car.
Not so cool - stuff at the hotel (e.g. food, laundry, spa treatments + massages) are painfully overpriced relative to what's on offer outside, the pools get pretty crowded, getting to and from rooms can be a hike if you're put on the outer fringes (like we were), and if you don't have a scooter or car - getting out of the hotel to patong is always going to cost you 200 baht (one way) with the local pirates known as tuktuk drivers (the walk is far enough to be a pain).
Very nice place overall and enjoyed the stay here. Rooms are not absolutely perfect and are getting old in parts - but are still very nice, clean and comfy. I thought it was a bit more expensive than what it was worth but had absolutely no complaints overall. The staff were awesome and helpful in every way - and were constantly going out of their way to make the stay more comfy and enjoyable. Security is great and the reception staff really go above and beyond.
Saw both couples and families having great time there. Maybe a little crowded when filled to capacity as there are A LOT of rooms onsite.
Travel tip : Advice:
- get a scooter if you're brave enough, the tuktuks are robbers and one short trip (200 baht) is what you'll pay for a bike for a whole day.
- when bargaining for stuff I found halving the price was good rule of thumb, tho I probably still overpayed.
- try the pokey little seafood places away from the main strip - I found cheaper, better and people friendlier (tho the places were a little less sanitized).
- see the beaches other patong, which is kinda dirty, Karon, Kata and Surin are gorgeous and clean.

Landscape, view, excellent property
Lack of veg food, to and fro van facility to market should be provided by hotel
Amari coral beach is an excellent resort for relaxation, spa and message therapies. The room and pool landscape view of the sea is outstanding. Hotel interiors are great with all facilities. The private beach next to the pool is also fun. The travel desk also provides good information and assists in local torism well.

. Better than the brochure, exceeded expectations, every room has balcony with sea view, very capable and friendly staff.
Bathroom is clean and functional, however is dated and could use a remodeling.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amari Coast Resort And Spa, my bast hotel stay ever, the staff was very accommodating even though I arrived a day early. The facilities are excellent, very good buffet breakfast, pool and view of the bay also within easy walking distance of the entertainment area by street or along the surf.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking along the surf at night

Overall clean environment, freindly service, private beach & jetty & freindly smiles
Showers can be improved, should extend open hours for private jetty to 10pm instead of 8pm
Hotel is located at the end of Patong beach , away from the crowds so it is very peaceful, tranquil and yet conveniently located. Walking distance to Patong area about 15-20mins. Conveniently located to restaurants, pubs etc too. Nice beach front rooms, private beach & jetty.
Travel tip : The location is ideal for a getaway+relax trip away from the hustle & bustle of the Patong beach pub & restaurants area. Also private beach with two swimming pools. Staff was courteous & efficient

Beautiful; Nice View; Nice Swimming Pool;
No Shuttle Bus to the shopping area. There were a lot of Ants in the hotel room, even on the bed.
I really enjoyed a lot in Amari from my first step in to leaving. Retaurant is great with 180' sea view. It was so relaxing to swim in the hotel pool and take a sun bath under the freshing sky. Only one con bothering me is the ants in the room. Hope you guys can make that gone and it will be prefect in the future.

service, people, place, amenities...the WHARF was wonderful!
a bit far from the phuket nighlife...you have to take the tuk-tuk to get there.
the hotel was spectacular! really perfect for privacy and relaxation.
As an architect, I must say and the rooms, resto and lobby was well-interior designed! color scheme was very soothing and relaxing!
and the SPA! the location was well situated as well...
Amari is totally an experience itself in Phuket
Travel tip : book amari everytime you go to phuket!

view from the room, facilities, the look of the hotel.
cant swim in the beach in front of the resort, to much rocks (youll see when the tide goes out)
We stayed at Amarri Coral Beach resort for 4 days. We stayed in a deluxe room, all of which have great views of the ocean, as the beach is right in front. the staff were extremely kind and helpful, the pool areas were beautiful and as far as hotel meals go, they were reasonably priced (and delicious). The hotel sits at the end of patong beach up a hill, and is only a 10 minute walk into patong, although you can of course get a tuk tuk out the front of the lobby which will set you back about 50 baht. All in all, we had a wonderful stay there and will definitely be staying there again.
Restaurant Tip : A beautiful food and wine bar in/around the Robinons shopping complex, western food and australian wine at a very good price.

location, in the busiest beach in Phuket, easy to find local restaurants, massage places. room is big with its own balcony.
just normal resort, no characters.
the rate for tuk tuk is ridiculously high, but u can bargain if u have energy with those drivers.

buffet breakfast was pretty good, extensive selection
charge for everything, and too much! internet was 500 baht (about $15) for four hours!
The price of the room is reasonable, but there is a reason. They charge an exorbitant fee to use internet, if you drink the bottled water in the room it's like 150 TMB (only 2 bottles/day complimentary, even for 2 people). Our room also was not new-looking at all, bathroom was small, and toilet made noise the whole 2 days -- even after asked to fix it. Some of staff was not very helpful, but some were gems. I would pay the extra money for a room at a nice place where they don't then charge you for every little thing.

has its own private beach. v helpful staff.
Very good breakfast variety.
not on patong beach. little isolated from the main area.
rooms could have been bigger
good hotel and helpful staff. however, the room size is not that big and the location is about 5 mins away from patong beach. so people who want to stay on patong beach shld not opt for this hotel.

The views of patong beach and the adaman sea, The spacious resort is so clean , The staff are just so gracious, we so did not want to leave
We stayed at the Amari coral beach resort for 10 days and felt like royalty we will definitely be going back again an again. We were just up the hill from all the excitment in bangla rd so we had the peace from all the noise at night. the tuk tuks were allways there waiting so transport at any time was no trouble, We also went to the night markets half an hour away at phuket, only open sat/sun, well worth it, The people are not pushy like Bangla rd they let you browse around no hastling, The food is also fresh prepared worth sampling all the flavours.
Restaurant Tip : The food at the Amari was the best we had any where during our 10 day stay, next time we will have all our meals there as there are several restaurants at the resort to choose from.

Setting & landscaping
Service
Breakfast
Quality of rooms
Although the hotel was fairly full it never seemed busy or overcrowded.
Hills & steps (for some guests)
The Amari has a great setting and landscaping and is a beautiful resort. The pool areas are attractive & well maintained. Service was impeccable in all areas and the breakfast was fantastic. The deluxe room was very comfortable & well maintained - the sea views were wonderful. The premium for a deluxe room over standard was pretty high - I have a feeling that the standard rooms may offer better value and still a high standard.
Although the hotel was fairly full it never seemed busy or overcrowded.
The only potential issue with the Amari is it's hilly location in relation to the rest of Patong (I'm sure being on the edge of town is an advantage for many too!). While we regularly climbed the hill and never used the fleet of waiting tuk tuks on the warmer days it was pretty arduous! Also, the resort is large and there are a lot of steps - our deluxe room was a looong walk from the reception & walking back there involved a couple of steep climbs - I'm sure some guests would struggle.
