I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurants was excellent
There is not too much that needed improvement.
We had a great time at the Amari. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurants was excellent and it was close enough to Patong Beach without having any noise from the town. The access to taxis and Tuk Tuks was great. We would stay here again
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is cheaper to buy sightseeing vouchers in the town from the vendors than to arrange through the hotel.

The view from the rooms is wonderful, Breakfast is one of the best we have ever had.
The location of the Amari would not be suitable for physically disabled people, young kids or older guests. The breakfast area and pools were quite a way and downhill from our rooms
The Amari Coral Beach is a beautiful resort with lovely rooms and facilities. Whilst I would stay here again - I would only do it with healthy and able bodied people. The walk down to the breakfast area is very steep as the complex is built on the side of a hill. The views are great but one of our party had alot of difficulty getting down to and back up to breakfast. The walk into town was about 10 minutes but coming back you are walking UP the hill. Staff were courterous and assisted where possible. No shutttle into town
Hotel Feature Tip : Dont take the Tuk Tuks from just outside the hotel - charge about $8 for 2 minute ride into town. Walk down the driveway and many will halve this figure

Nice location. Good Breakfast. Friendly staff. Good room.
The prices at the restaurants in the hotel are very expensive.
Very good hotel, nice location, just out of town and yet you can go by foot to town. The breakfastbuffet is super and the staff is very helpfull. We could stay in our room till the afternoon without any charge because we had an evening flight.
Nightlife Tip : Don't take a tuk-tuk, they charge you 2OO Baht to town witch is a rip off because you can do it easely by foot. (10 min)

WIFI TO EXPENSIVE 580 BAHT FOR 4 HOURS
OK FOR MY WIFE AND MYSELF BUT A LOT OF STAIRS AND A STEEP HILL GOING UP TO THE HOTEL NOT IDEAL FOR OLDER PEOPLE OR PENSIONERS
VIEW FROM ROOM 4104 WAS JUST LIKE PARADISE THE HOTEL WAS FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF PATONG STRIP,THE RESTAURANTS WERE REASONABLY PRICED FOR A HOTEL

very serene, zen-like. Unlike anything I have seen in North America where I am from.
Parts of the property is under construction, around the breakfast restaurant area, view is obscured.
I loved my stay at Amari Coral Resort. Staff friendly and helpful. Concierge too. I am active so I really enjoyed the small hike up to the property from Patong beach. It is a slight hide away from the hussle of the city which gives more privacy. I did not use the pools but they both look very nice and clean. This place is more for couples without kids. I tend to choose hotels that aren't family friendly and Amari fits my need. Bar in the middle of the property over looks Patong Bay is just phenomenal. The spa is a treat in itself. The nature walk way which leads to the jetty is a nice walk if you enjoy an active type of life style. This property is classy in Patong area tucked away on a small hill away from all the bars, restaurant, shopping...etc. I definitely appreciated its serenity after spending a whole day either on the beach or day excursion. I highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is not for those who are unable to walk a few steps up the hill, in that case you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk. Please do not take it wrong, this place is definitely not far from the town center, perhaps a 5-10 minutes walk depending on your speed.

Friendly and helpful staff, quaint ambience, many restaurants to choose from. Crystal clear pools. Phenomenal views. Zen-like spa facility.
water slightly tinged, perhaps that goes for all Phuket and may not be just Amari Coral. In general not much complaints since we did not spend too much time in the room.
I chose this place mainly due to the positive reviews it receives. I like the location being slightly secluded and needs a little bit of walking uphill to get to, nice exercise which everyone can benefit from. Not in the "heart" of all the craziness but still very easily accessible to all the shopping and restaurants. I can see this place being unfriendly to someone who suffers from orthopedic problems such as knee arthritis. The breakfast had plenty of dishes to choose from and the menu changed everyday while we were there; fresh baked bread right out of the oven too. I tend to like to stay away from too family-oriented places in general and did I make the right choice. There were kids but not overwhelmingly outnumbered like I have seen at some other bigger hotel chains. The concierge was helpful in booking tours; we did half day city tour by taxi, Koh Phi Phi Island excursion, and Muay Thai. Prices were comparable to other places. Overall, I would definitely stay at Amari Coral again. I enjoyed my stay and the trip very much.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I highly recommend that one talks to the concierge to arrange tours. Try to do day excursions. I did not do Simon's Cabaret or FantaSea or any of the animal shows simply because they are not of my interest.

friendly staff , clean place
Before I go people were encouraging ALOT to book this hotel but honestly it's not over the moon , yes it is clean and nice and a lovely lobby , but next time I would definitely book somewhere in the middle of the streets , we were encouraged that the hotel has it's own beach but the beach is all rocks so you cannot really benefit from it , it was not clear that the hotel was on the hill side . the massage is nice for it is outdoors and you can hear the sound of the waves while relaxing . It is worth mentioning that when they knew about our honeymoon they were the only hotel who made a special arrangement on the bed and gave us a honeymoon cake .

Very beautiful resort. Very clean and the service was excellent. Room was really nice and the view is amazing. There is a private little part of the beach.
It is a little further to all the food and shops but the hotel is really beautiful. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful which was more than expected. The food is good though a little pricey. The room was very nice with ocean view.

Picture perfect scenery, great service and fantastic airconditioning!
A lot of walking needed to get from one place to the other
It was a perfect holiday, as it was low season and we were greeted with smiles and warm welcome by the hotel staff. When shown to our room, it was totally unexpected cos we were given the row of rooms on the 1st floor which is directly facing the sea and we literally had the sea at our doorstep or balcony-step. We also went for a 4 hour spa and it was heavenly altho we had to walk quite a bit to get to our private treatment room but it was totally worth it! The view that it offers is stunning and unforgetable! Overall, it was a very nice holiday, one the best i had in a very long time!
Hotel Feature Tip : Be prepared to pay for "tuk tuk" service every time you leave the hotel. Its quite a walk to get to patong beach.

Great quiet location
Excellent views of the water from nearly everywhere on the resort
Rooms are comfortable
Great Diving Shop onsite
The Spa & Beauty Shop is very expensive compared to the average prices around Thailand
No inroom internet
Internet is slow
Tut tut's are expensive from the hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try Scuba Diving. It has some wonderful dive sites that you can book through See Bees Diving from the Amari resort.

Great location
Clean Rooms
Very Helpful Staff
Reasonable Rates
Excellent Food
Very Private and Quiet
Very short walk to all the action in Patong
2 Pools
No Free Wifi
No in Room Wifi
Food and Beverages a little pricey
Beach area a little small and non existent at High Tide
Our entire stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel is located on the edge of Patong bay - a very short walk (5-10 minutes) from the nightlife in Patong. It was great to have a place with plush greenery and well manicured lawns. A huge contrast from some of the other "Beach Front" hotels in Patong. The only thing the hotel lacks is free Wifi / Internet. They do have an option to buy 2 or 4 hours but it was slightly overpriced and could only be used in the lobby or common areas.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel offers tours that can be purchased in the lobby. I would advise walking into town and buying the exact same tours for a fraction of the cost. As for the island tours the ones with the fewer islands are more enjoyable. the 5 and 4 island tours only leave you 30 - 45 minutes on each island and a lot of time sitting on a boat in between. And Take the speedboat option. It is faster and usually only slightly more than the big slow boat.
