Good roof top swimming pool
Not very far from Bangla Road and Jungceylong

Opposite of Christine Massage, 5-7 minutes walk to the Jungceylong Mall and Bangla Road. Has 2 good swimming pools, the rooms are big enough, but the TV-set in my standard room was not LCD, but of an old "brown" type, which can rarely be seen now even in hostels...
Hotel Feature Tip:
Has 2 swimming pools, but many people just don`t know about the Roof Top one which has a great view and quiet.

Decent Hotel

We are traveling in an group and we didn't stay much in the hotel. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are decent but I don't understand why there is no hand shower if they are providing the bath tub.
If you are looking for a hotel, this is one of the good choices.
But if you are looking for a resort, go for other options.
I didn't find or feel any facilities like resort.
One more worst part is they are asking us to checkout at 9:00 AM even though the check out time is 12:00

The place is clean and quite. Its also near to everywhere (Rest, Shopping and Bar). The staff is friendly and the wifi signal is good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Should go to Coral and Phi phi Island. Not so safe on the water rafting and sad that the sunset cruise was cancel. Overall, its a very happening place and for sure will come back again.

Nice Room and balcony
The pool on the roof was nice, there was a good balcony, clean rooms

This was a great spot to stay, the rooms were clean, free bottled water in the fridge, nice shower, attentive and helpful staff. The best bed we stayed in in Thailand, close to the Big C, Bangala St, and only a few minutes walk to the beach. We had a good time here, and while it was a bit above our target price range it was well worth the extra money and is a good value. The balcony was good, though we were in a room without a great view.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's best to shop around a bit for prices for different tours, you'll find that prices vary quite a bit and you can get them for less than you'll find online, though online is more convenient if it's not a concern.

5 to 10 minutes walk to jungcelyon which offers many options for dining, shopping and entertainment. hotel is also strategically located in the hub of patong, with a short walk to bangla road or patong beach. spoilt for choice for food and massage options

Comfortable stay at Amata with a clean room. Kudos to the hotel for a complimentary bottle of water to the room each day. Friendly staff who assisted with the car to the airport on departure day. Hotel is also equipped with a roof top pool that has a view over patong area, as Amata is comparatively taller than the shophouses surrounding it. Overall, an enjoyable stay
Restaurant Tip:
If you do not mind the walk, you should try out sabai sabai for good thai food. There are many massage places around the hotel, but the best I have tried is a sweet lemon grass massage. you can try walking from jungcelyon, or to take a tuk tuk

A very pleasant place to stay - The rooms are comfotable with a nice TV, fridge, etc..... There is a nice pool. The buffet breakfast is OK. The beach, shopping, restaurants and night life are just a short walk away. *** Greedy management**** - My initial booking at this hotel was cancelled due to attending the funeral of my good friends seven month old baby. The hotel said the only way I could change the dates without charge is by providing a copy of the babies death certificate, obviously something I was not willing to ask my friend for. That was "heartless" and Petty!!! Not what I have come to expect from Thailand!!!******
